17:16 Just a small quibble, but you are looking at this from the assumption that he is the Devil as depicted in Christianity. There are other explanations. It could be that he and God are equal and God decided to do a smear campaign against the Devil. It could be that he is the real supreme being and finally had enough with people worshiping another being which would be the god of Christianity.

This was stupid, yet funny, like seeing Sean Spencer's dad from "Psych" as an emotionally conflicted defense attorney, Willy flirting with the bailiff, and the courtroom shooting by prosecutor. Evidently, the people who wrote don't take kindly to witnesses or lawyers.
