Thank you! Not only can I compare all the Diamine blues with another, but I can also observe their drying times. Thumbs up!

My top 3: Majestic Blue, Oxford Blue, Sapphire Blue. An honourable mention for the Teal. 😊Thank you very much for doing the comparison. 👍

Ughh...it's too difficult to choose 1 ink when you're broke and blue is my favorite color. So far I have Royal and Majestic blue and will probably go with a blue-green ink next. Great job as usual! You make it so much more easier to decide. Thanks again!

Broke and favorite color blue - sounds exactly like me. There are too many fantastic blues and comparison swatches only convince me that I need them all.

As a standard blue I like the ones that lean slightly to the purpleish side like Washable Blue.

why bloggers demonstrate ink test under warm light? dont they know colours are distorting?
@d2row962 жыл бұрын
Yes. Color balance is wrong for 90 percent of videos out there. Plus dip pens are way more saturated

I have Havasu Turquiose and I love it. The little 30ml bottles are too small to get my big pens in to The ones sold in America seem to have wider necks

Mr Eric Wu, Doesn’t like you, Cos he never responded to, Any of your comments about Diamine blue! Actually the real reason he didn’t respond is because he’s currently serving a life sentence for misspelling Mediterranean 😉

Hello Eric Wu, thanks for this vid. It helped me to choose some inks from Diamine. But some colors looking really different. For example the Florida blue look so different. I bought it but it's much brighter. More like the Turqaoise color in your list :-/ Bummer..

I’m looking for a blue which is comparable to Noodlers Blue Eel. Looks like Mediterranean Blue or Florida Blue or Kensington Blue might match?

Great video. My teal looks nothing similar to yours. Mine looks green. It's not even dark! Maybe they got confused with the bottles
@KingOfHearts9014 жыл бұрын
The lightness and hue of the ink once dried depends heavily upon the type of pen used. This video will not give an accurate representation of the final colour of any one particular ink. What it will do is allow us to observe the differences in hue of the links relative to one another. For example one might expect China Blue to be lighter, more yellow and green than Imperial Blue, regardless of the pen used.

I don't know if it is the camera or the dip pen but Twilight, Blue_Black, Midnight and Denim didn't come out right. Especially Twilight and blue black came out almost the same. Teal is not so dark either. May be it has to do with dark inks.
