I will do the review first in order to submit the vote for a favorite. During the sharing process I had so many thoughts of similar inks to compare to, so yes, I will do a comparison to similar inks that I have. It will be fun and educational! Thank you for seeking clarification.

This ink was a shock to me too. I'm still on the fence about whether I like it or not. I does have great flow in a pen but that green sheen with the black is so weird. And wow, that chromatography strip--so strange! I've really enjoyed all your videos showing two inks per day. I've seen some who have done the whole invent in one video for both Colorverse and Diamine, and it's too much to take in all at once. I prefer your slower approach, taking the time to appreciate each ink.

Thank you so much for your compliments. In the past I adhered to December Inkvent dates, but last year I broke my hand on November 28th and wasn’t able to participate so I ended up sharing mine in a Christmas in July. This year I hesitated and asked my viewers what and when they would like to see the two brands. It has been an absolute enjoyable experience. I think it allows viewers on the fence to decide to purchase while still available. The hard part is having 49 new bottles of ink! 🤣 I do appreciate your viewership and contributions to conversation. I’m so blessed!

So the color of the Inkvent of the year is the color of the final day. Last year was purple, year before was what. Red?

2023 was a purple box with Raise a Glass, purple shimmer ink. 2022 was green with Best Wishes, green ink sheening red with shimmer. 2021 was a red box with All the Best, a red sheening ink. So your assumption is absolutely spot on. The black box had a black liquid that sheened green. Excellent surmise!

Thank you for sharing! It is pretty however I found out quickly that I do not care for black ink with glitter or sheen. I tried Colorverse Shiny Black and have an entire bottle of the Robert Oster Schwarz Rose that I will likely never use and will gift to someone 😊.

@Faithandfountainpens I have a sample of the Schwartz Rose. It is pretty ink, but the shimmer clogged in my BENU Shmidt M nib. I do like the way the black ink dried to green. I think I’ll enjoy it.

@ so glad you are enjoying this one. It is very pretty 🤩. I was thinking that I could use some of the glitter inks that have a tendency to clog pens when using them on their own; and add a drop or two to another ink. I did this yesterday. I added a drop or two of the Van Dieman’s Queenstown Goldmine to Diamine Ancient Copper to a BENU with extra fine nib. Very subtle however hasn’t clogged. I love finding workarounds 😊
