Наоборот, я поняла, какая мощь в голосе Дианы, как она проживает каждую песню. Сейчас, конечно, не очень благоприятный период для концертов, да и времени во время учебы в институте стало меньше. Надеюсь, что Диана будет радовать своих поклонников, а не потеряется .

I have never watched this performance and. not gotten choked up... how the lyrics/premise of the song hit so close to her life as an orphan, the utter brilliance of the set design, her technical proficiency, and her commitment to the role portrayal. I absolutely love Diana. Her original songs are awesome-Into the Sky, La Vague, By Your Voice,etc. An emotional performance of Me Voy when she was 13 is incredible. I highly recommend it. It was her first solo concert and it was amazing.

“ Human” Blizzard” And Wait to you watch and hear her at age 14 on a riverboat cruise ship giving an hour long performance highlighted with her amazing performance mostly in English of a 1920s cabaret song by the famous composer Irving Berlin called “ Puttin On The Ritz” . Not only does she kill it with her vocal electrifying expressions and dance moves but I will not spoil the SURPRISE that will knock you off your chair ( a 12 second teaser she gives the audience that the late great Fred Astaire would be smiling down on her from heaven. ). If Diana wanted to she could easily become a world class.... ( I won’t spoil the 12 seconds) Another when she was 13 she performed Me Voy” in Spanish and when I sent the video to my Spanish speaking friends they were in shock and disbelief. Her pronunciation was perfect and her interpretation was so emotionally impactful that all my friends were almost in tears. A must reaction. And even further back at age 10 she killed a classic Beatles cover of “ Oh Darling” that remains to this day my favorite cover of this song. For a newer rendition check her fan Club channel where a few days ago she performed “ by your voice ( the title is in Russian but it’s the one that’s 4:06 in duration) and she performed this same song about a year ago but she has vastly improved where she can not only thrill you with her dramatic contralto voice but she has added a layer of a high head register ( not falsetto) that lets her sustain those high notes and phrases. Also when she won her “you are super” contest she performed a song written by Lara Fabian titled “ Tomorrow Is A Lie” accompanied on the piano by the famous composer Igor. She sings it in English and the meaning of this song is so spiritual “ only here and now... Tomorrow is a Lie ( all that exists is the next moment). I can't imagine anyone of any age do a better rendition of this in ANY language! The emotional commitment she puts into her singing is immense. She once said in a Russian interview that these performances take such a lot of her good energy that she will normally only do them once or twice a day as it takes a while to recover emotionally. Very few singers actually "become" the song they are singing. Quote from Diana "In principle, if you don't sing with your soul, you probably don't sing." That says it all I think. xxx

crazy to think she learned to sing b/c her adopted mother wanted to help her start speaking(3-4 yrs old and still not talking much) so she put her in singing lessons and yodeling lessons. Absolutely amazing from a very humble start.

Diana is admirable, she had a very difficult childhood, her mother was an alcoholic and she abandoned her one winter day with broken bones. She ended up in an orphanage and due to the trauma she lost her speech, thank God she was adopted by the nurse who cared for her and she was advised to take the girl to music therapy, that is how she learned to sing and speak. She is an extraordinary woman 💜💜💜

Rechenka (River), comprised of Russian folk tales, is about an orphan who is being given away in marriage to the unloved. She comes to the river, border between the living and the dead, to ask blessings from her deceased mother. Especially poignant as Diana was abused and nearly killed by her birth mother, thrown out on the street in winter with a broken arm at 4yrs old, speechless when taken to an orphanage, learned to sing, and was adopted by the lady you see in the wings during this performance. After suffering recurring nightmares about her abusive mother returning, her adoptive (real) mother moved far away. This show, "You Are Super," is for abused / underprivileged children. Igor Krutoy, famous Russian composer and one of the judges, has mentored Diana and bought an apartment in Moscow for her 'forever family." Amazing what love and music can do for a child.
