@@lott5291 I actually moved here in August 2019 to study and be with my partner but with the plan to be able to visit Aus and for friend and family to visit here. Can't complain as many others are stranded and want to be in Aus permanently.

How refreshing to have a first hand report on travel to Australia from someone whose not a reporter for the media. I am here balling my eyes out watching this, calling your family to tell them fills me with joy. I haven't seen my family in over a year and I absolutely can't wait to hug them all!! I am so so happy you got to come back to Australia to visit your family, We live on the Gold Coast but are from New Zealand hoping to see them before the end of the year, we are lucky to have the bubble but we don't want to get stuck if we travel there or they get stuck here 😂

I am so happy for you! For me it is the other way around. I'm stuck in Australia and cannot leave to see my family back home in Europe. It'll be 2 years in december. This is making me tear up! I will be doing everything I can to get an exemption to leave later this year to see them due to my deteriorating mental health. 100% feel how you must've been feeling this past year. Good luck in hotel quarantine!
