A 1940 prop on the GTR90 solves the potential wire cutting issues but with the smaller (safer) prop its not as crisp or refined in flight.

I see that emax released the 3” prop 4500kv version. Looks smooth and better flight time than the 2” baby hawk R And I see people upgrading this one to the 2.5 prop and larger arm conversion While still keeping the 6000kv motors. Heard that’s the sweet spot. Anything you can add to that ? Your opinion is going to help making the right choice. I’m looking for smaller than my xjb145 Thanks. Keep em coming !!!

Yep. That’s my sweet spot. Same motors 3” arms and larger props. Perfection 👌🏻

So I'd like to get this one. My question is can you double the side pieces up to get a thicker side. Will the screws and tolerances allow for that.? Thanks

Hi man, I need your help and expertise in this serious problem I have please,, i've passed the wizard x220 class :-) and Now I am ready to buy my first " real " drone, I will start to build soon but first have some fpv fun and more learning with a real drone fell in love with Diatone in general, its a while I am attracted to "Diatone GT-200" 2017 Model which already proved that is a good quad, But there is a new 2018 model coming up (gt-M530 N ) , i love both design , I just want a smooth handling quad , I enjoy free styling more than racing , so with this little info and your wast knowledge you think I should wait for the new one or just buy the 2017 model ? I really do appreciate your help, also appreciate a Lot for any kind of info or advise in this field as Im still so noob compare to guy like you , kind regards All

Was looking to get the babyhawk r. But to have heard you broke 3 cameras... I'll now wait for them to make a better shell to protect the camera. I really hope they do.
@dronecamps6 жыл бұрын
2 cameras but I was flying through playground metal poles giving it a hard test. Buy with confidence. Youll love that quad.
@engizmo6 жыл бұрын
Drone Camps RC I fly like you. Small gaps are inviting. This leads to many a crash. So dont want to dump $30 on a camera every 2 weeks. If cameras where a lot cheaper then not an issue. But IMO emax should make a better shell theirs really does not offer enough protection for cameras.

@Drone Camps RC just hearing u mention ppl crashing their Babyhawk into snow or wet grass. I'm from Australia and I don't have snow where I live but I crashed my Chameleon into shoulder-high water and found it with my feet and all I lot was x1 esc and the battery lol

No. I broke the camera frame. So I had to use the last hole that wasn't broken. The frame leaves the camera bottom exposed so it got broke.

babyhawkr looks better 2 ;) awesome review...
@MikeLaRock886 жыл бұрын
HomeGrownCanadianFPV it's not. It puffed 3s batteries and the prop size sucks. I don't like my babyhawk. the diatone is way better imo
@dronecamps6 жыл бұрын
+Infinity FPV I prefer the 1106s. If you puffed the battery you flew it too long bro

Justin - Can you do a review of these new 3D Printed sides plates for the Diatone GT R-90? I know you crashed yours and broke a side plate and there doesn't seem to be an easy way to get replacements right now. Here are the 3D file links: www.thingiverse.com/thing:2762190 and this new cool looking one with spikes www.thingiverse.com/thing:2755186. Thanks for all the great videos.

Why choose, just buy both! lol
@dronecamps6 жыл бұрын
Not a bad idea. They fly completely different. R90 is better in a small space. Baby hawk R has max recovery power from maneuvers with the 1106 motors
@BigDFPV6 жыл бұрын
Yeah I couldn't decide so I bought both lol, now I just need some warmer weather to fly them. 15 degrees just won't do!
@Pile_of_carbon6 жыл бұрын
Haha! True! Each cost just slightly more than a Tiny Whoop, which completely blows my mind.

I got about 10 mini racers and its adding up. I have a large tupperware filled with batteries that can last all day. 1s 2s 3s.(divided). And a box full of my minis. A box of props. Yes i use tupperware to carry my drones and accessories. Also a "Omnicharge" powerbanks. 20k. Has outlet/2usb 3amp/ dc charger/ c port and QI CHARGE Wireless charge and a LCD with OP protections. Not bad. I transition from larger fpv race quad to mini, i can carry more load.

Maybe you should had taken a few clips of the GT90 for the review... before you flew it ?...lol.. It looks beaten and crooked ...poor thing..lol
