I love Dr. Brown but I hope he sees the really bad theology of some of his acquaintances. I've been listening to those like Sheets and Jacobs for a long time now. They've got some really bad teaching and theology. I'm Pentecostal but don't agree at all with the beliefs coming from NAR. Especially how they deal with spiritual warfare and making decrees and the 7 mountain mandate. This type of teaching has always been popular but it's just not biblical. I appreciated this episode and we as Pentecostals can be more discerning about these false teachings.

Some Christians there probably contributed to the chaos, but most importantly, everyone ought to know that there were plants from multiple factions present and authorities facilitating the breaches and drumming up the crowd.

This guy had my attention until, he admitted, after being asked, that the gentlemen stated they didn't intend on violence. From that point on, everything he stated became an overstated opinion. He doesn't give antifa much cedit. I take everything he staes with a grain of salt. His emotion alone reveals an axe to grind. He would be easy to refute in court.

Hes right. There was no antifa. Rather there is a fascist minded element in the NAR that Mussolini or Francisco Franco would admire. An anti democratic anti secular ideology. This Baptist is ok with the liberal regime of seperation of church and state and the freedom to speak to my neighbors about the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world. These NAR Trumpists would be very comfortable with the Spanish Inquisition. I wouldn't be surprised if there are radical Romanists behind them.

Dr. Brown, it’s not that some people “say” it wasn’t an insurrection or a storming of the capital. It’s that it was not either of those as a matter of fact. This is old news. Listening to this exchange was like watching a Twilight Zone episode depicting an alternative reality.

Thanks for having Matthew on your show. I lean towards Michael's theology but regarding January 6th, I was appalled at what I saw. I've always 'felt' Christians have some responsibility for some of the extremes of Trump's presidency. I say felt because I've never studied it in-depth and Matthew laid out his view which differs from people in my world hence helping me to have a broader view of what took place. Really helpful.

I've listened to Dutch Sheets for several years now. It's true the he promoted a lot of prophecies about Trump having a second term, etc., probably unwisely. But, while it's true that he talks - a lot! - about the "ecclesia," I've never heard him talk about it in terms other than spiritual - prayer, prophetic declarations, etc. Maybe he believes what Matthew Taylor says he does, but I've never heard Dutch say those things.

Matthew makes some great points but totally loses me when he starts making talking points for the left (and Pence) by saying Trump was trying to overthrow the election. He needs to do more research.
