Honestly Kayla, if you’re going to be in this business for a while, get into doubles and triples. 5 day work week 3.5k a week m. Best decision I’ve ever made

What I have found is that companies that are not trucking companies that have drivers delivering their products value their drivers and treat their employees better than trucking companies. Me and my husband were blessed to find a company that pays their employees. We grossed over 2,200 each a week with a12,000 sign on bonus for 12 months and they pay the taxes on the 1,000 so you get the whole 1,000 a month plus other bonuses. Look into companies that are not trucking companies.

My two cents.. the only way you're ging to see real money is to become an owner operator. More money, but also more responsibility and upkeep. But the earning potential is way higher. Doesn't matter which division or account you go to, your income will always be capped. Find what works best for you and your situation; pay, hometime, benefits, etc. I'm sure there will be some owner operators who will say that they're not making any money, but $3,000 per week to them won't be the same to you. Again find what works for you. ❤

Good credit is helping those big purchases. I think with trucking don’t take less than $1k for 5 days of work as a company driver… minimize bills, save and you will see the money .. idk that’s just me

Crazy I saw my boy from a few years ago the other day and he’s a trucker and told me about all the bread he’s making. He was saying to get a cdl but idk yet, like you said it’s different for everyone

So the intermodal at jb hunt didn’t change in pay for the better ? & I also think you didn’t see an increase in pay is bc of the mega starter companies.. knight transportation is trash lol.. but I say once your tickets fall off & you can go to the companies that require 1/2 years experience you’ll be better off i guarantee ! Especially since you already have the experience.. but have you thought about tankers ?

I haven’t got my w2 yet but last week I made 110,000 and that was on my last check so I have this Friday check and I’ll c what was my end of year total I’ve made in year 2024 I’ll keep u posted

I had the same journey you did tickets and all even went Knight twice because I saw you video but now I’m happy we’re I’m at y’all sleeping on yard dogs plus I was able to start a part time trucking business on the weekend

@@davekim2854 I worked a JBH account - local and night shift - we started between 2pm and 5pm and got home about 4am on average each night. Some nights are shorter and some are longer depending on the stores you drop at and traffic of course.
