I trust in God and keep faith even as I struggle to take care of my children and myself. As a single mother things are so hard on me. Both of my sons are autistic I’m overwhelmed. God please hear my prayers. I’m constantly struggling to buy groceries and constantly struggling to pay rent and now that I’m home schooling my sons I’m struggling to buy their school supplies. Great explanation. I can testify that our Blessed Mother always leads us to Christ. After my conversion in Medjugorje 16 years ago, my love for Mary increased significantly at the same my devotion and love for Jesus grew immensely, especially my love for the Eucharist. I wholeheartedly agree with Dr. Marshall that the Blessed Mother magnifies not diminishes our love for the Lord, Jesus Christ. Right after my conversion, I had a vision of the two hearts overlapping each other in the sky. I now firmly believe they were the Immaculate Heart of Mary and Sacred of Jesus united to serve as a refuge for sinners. I led a promiscuous life before my conversion, and my heart was hardened. God intervened through our Blessed Mother to transform my heart to save my marriage. I am praying that others receive the same grace to convert as I did. Before my conversion 16 years ago in Medjugorje, I went through the same line of thinking that Catholics bowed down to Mary, which should be reserved only for God and that would be considered idolatry. I even fought tooth and nail with the pilgrimage group leader, saying that the Brown Scapular was superstitious. I thought about leaving the Catholic Church for Protestants due to the strictness of teaching on divorce. I was completely transformed when the Blessed Mother entered my hotel room in Medjugorje. We then stopped by Paris on our way home, and she revealed to me that she was a Queen of Heaven and Earth, seeing her crown in the sky. I was a lukewarm Catholic, so I would not have known that title. I am not a theologian, but common sense tells me that God had to make an exception for Mary since Jesus could not reside in a sinful womb. Jesus had to be fed by our Blessed Mother, so her milk and bloodstream had to be pure.

To begin with all that stuff you said about Satan and Christ and eternity is all rubbish you were taught. For example Satan is not the same as the snake in the garden. Satan actually was part of the Zoroastrian religion. The Israelites adopted him into their religion when they were in exile in Babylon. I think it might help if, instead of praying, you took a course on the history of your religion. But more importantly look at what your religion has done to your morals. Here you are making excuses for child molesters. Important question: Do you make excuses for child molesters that are not priests?Of course not. You talk of evil popes in history. Now we know that this child abuse has been going on for the last 7 or 8 decades. All those popes knew. They all hid it. They are all evil. I can say that the Dormition Feast has been one of biggest points of confusion with Roman Catholics visiting our Byzantine Catholic parish. Thank you for helping in clearing that up for our western family. You mentioned the presentation of Mary. This is the third of the 12 Great Feasts (our liturgical calendar always starts on September 1st) of the Eastern Catholic (and Orthodox) Calendar. The icon of the Dormition is one of my favorites, beautifully portraying the hymn of Dormition: "As mother of life, you departed to the source of life". The Catholic tradition is that "brother" at the time of the gospels also meant cousin (Russian retains a similar convention). Orthodox tradition is that "brother" refers to half brothers (half siblings as two sisters of Jesus are mentioned by Mark) and that Joseph had children from a previous marriage. The Orthodox view is reflected in the Protoevangelium of James (supposedly written by James, the Brother of the Lord). This Protoevangelium of James is the basis of numerous feasts celebrated by the Orthodox and Catholic Churches (Nativity of Mary, Presentation of Mary, Feast of Joachim and Anna). Many Protestants reject these traditions and I would agree that it seems reasonable to read the text of the gospels as saying that these siblings were Mary's children. However, it is also true that the texts do not make that point definitively. I'm not sure what you think I do not understand about Jesus's two natures. John 3:16 states that "God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son". Understanding this is not simple and I would suggest that Christian theology spent many centuries on Christology to speak on these subjects. Most Protestant denominations accept the Nicene Creed: "And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the only-begotten, begotten of the Father before all ages. Light of light; true God of true God; begotten, not made; of one essence with the Father, by Whom all things were made". The Orthodox use the titles Theotokos (Birthgiver of God) and Ever-virgin Mary for Jesus's mother. I am guessing that you reject both of these and would also reject the traditional Catholic equivalent of Theotokos: Mater Dei (Mother of God). In the early 5th century, Nestorius began to criticize the growing use of the term Theotokos, suggesting that Christotokos (Birthgiver of the Messiah) would be the only correct term, for reasons similar to what you are writing. Technically, since she was taken up by God, she did not "rise." That is why it is called her asssumption while we say Jesus ascended, because He is God, it was by His own power. But you are correct, about her conformity to Jesus.

@taylorrowe2002 I will keep you in my prayers. Thanks for sharing. Fear not! The Lord loves you and wants you to love Him. You desire the graces to love Him well, and He will grant you them. Any fear comes not from Him! Practically, I recommend too watching videos from more traditional Catholic sources because they never seem to be very tolerant and Protestant errors. I find sometimes some other sources may be a bit ambiguous which may lead to those types of confusions. I also recommend attending the Traditional Latin Mass if there’s one near you. And pray the Rosary too! Mary will always bring you to her son. God bless you brother and fear not!

@taylorrowe2002 to clarify, I only brought up the TLM when referring to the preaching itself of priests and catechesis in TLM communities have (in general) a way smaller chance of being erroneous teaching on Catholicism, especially in regards to topics with Protestantism. But of course I mean in general, there are without a doubt NO communities that preach the truth on this as well. In regards to the NO itself, the TLM and the NO are intrinsically both infinitely powerful, as they are both valid ways to celebrate the Mass. The debate boils down to mainly the extrinsic aspect of both Masses, especially their rubrics. The Missals of the NO are widely more ambiguous which leaves a lot more space for a free-for-all game (no coincidence why we’ve seen clown Masses and weed Masses). That’s an example, I really recommend watching a KZbinr named The Traditional Thomist. He has a playlist explaining the problem with the rubrics especially of the Novus Ordo. About validity, the truth is that there is more to it than that. A Protestant Baptism is valid if under the Trinitarian formula, but I’m not going to be baptized there, which shows that there is a lot more to it than that. This is where discussing the rubrics and mostly extrinsic aspects of both forms of the Mass is important. And all these discussions should be done out of charity, of course, because there is no point of them other than that. The TLM, many believe, is just a better representation of what the Mass is in its material aspect. This is ultimately the best for us because here we are incarnate beings, we are embodied souls. On a sidenote, with your case specifically, if you look at the history of many of the prayers and other parts of the rubrics of the NO, you will find that they have a lot of Protestant origin. When the NO first began, traditional Lutherans said that it looked like their services. When we are having doubts and confusions concerning Protestantism, I think that attending the TLM would be helpful to that because the history of it and the prayers and rubrics are %100 Catholic, and what’s important here is that they are SO different to Protestant services, they are so “set apart” (that is the definition of “sacred”) from the world and other religions that it highlights the treasure of being a Catholic. This is long and I summarized a lot. There are many sources much better than this KZbin comment that I could give if you’d want haha. I write this in charity! God bless.

Mary was not the only one who was conceived immaculately or was conceived without original sin all of us are also. We are all created in God's image which means without sin. God who is pure and Holy created us pure, holy, perfect, and blameless. We are born upright means without sins. We are wonderfully made in our mother's womb which means without sin. Brother, there is No Single verse in the Bible that Mary was Assumed into heaven the moment she died.. According to 1Corinthians 15:50-54, we still need to be transformed first from Corruptible into incorruptible body for us to enter into heaven, and that transformation will take place in the Time of Judgment after we are being Judged., the Judgment has not happened yet, therefore Mary has not ascended yet into heaven..

The Rosary is traditionally, our Lady's Psalter. It is a Marian devotion in honor of the Mother of God. To express a misplaced sadness over mysteries that were artificially imposed on the traditional Rosary in order to lessen the emphasis on Mary and incorporate Christology within it, is nonsense. VII and the post Conciliar Church sought to reduce the stature of Mary in their pursuit of Ecumenicism for the goal of uniting Christians. Since Protestants do not venerate Mary, and hold her honor in the Catholic Faith as objectionable. De-emphasizing Marian devotion was pushed after the Council, and thus many Catholics, including seminarians and priests, abandoned the practice. Traditionalist Catholics, including Marshall, do not recite the Luminous Mysteries, because it is not the traditional Rosary, and presents an odd fit in the weekly rotation. Tinkering with the Rosary as was presented to Saint Dominic by our Lady, is highly suspect, since it was wholely complete and not lacking in its composition. Tacking on added mysteries in order for the devotee to contemplate less of Mary is a rather dubious stunt for a devotion honoring her. This is yet another of the many transgressions pushed by the new post Vatican Council Church, in its ongoing arrogance in "improving," and changing what doesn't need changing. " If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!!"

Yes, the Blessed Virgin Mary died in the presence of 11 apostles on a Friday afternoon and was interred in a tomb. She was assumed into heaven on Sunday morning where here body and soul were re-united.
