The correlation to being a political opponent to Putin and the Kremlin and dying under mysterious circumstances at a young age is crazy. Navalny, Prigozhin, Yushenkov, Politkovskaya, Litvinenko, Estemirova, Magnitsky, Nemtsov, and that doesn't include a large pile of dead oligarchs.

I’m 16 years old and I’m scared to live in this country, among such people, the worst thing about this is that a lot of people support this government, and they are everywhere, my parents support this government, teachers, some of my peers. It is very difficult and scary to be in such an environment. I really don’t want to leave, but unfortunately, all that remains for me in this country is either to die for Putin and his illusory goals, or to be silent and indifferent, like a huge number of my fellow citizens. I really want to ask Putin why I don’t have the right to a happy life in my country?

As a russian, i just wanna say that all of this will change, it has to. And then a lot of people will realise how crazy everything was and how foolish they have been. But we have to wait for putin to die for that to happen. It's literally a biological race of who will outlive who. Actually a lot of russians hate him and his regime, it's just predominantly people from big cities (meaning cities with over a million people living there). Our country has survived Stalin, this dude with all his facelifts and botox has nothing on us lol, even though sometimes we feel otherwise

As I viewed this video, I had to burst out laughing at the absurd answers you recorded of the brave loyal citizens. 400,000 dead Russian soldiers!! I wish the channel would ask the Russian public how many Russian men have been eliminated in Putin's war? At the current rate of 950 men killed each DAY. The total is expected to be in excess of 400,000 by the 2nd anniversary of the war. The clowns who did answer the question sounded universally brainwashed. Just let that number sink in...400,000 Russian men are dead and the Red army nears total destruction of tanks and missile launchers. Putin resembles Hitler more than Peter the Great!

Hunderds of people are arrested right now for laying flowers in the streets to honour Navalny. That's a brave action in Russia. Before that, thousands and thousands of people signed for Nadezhdin, an anti-war pro-democracy politician, to be a candidate in presedencial elections. @@benediktioakim , this CIA-funded operative was a high-profile opponent of Putin’s that was sent to a high-security prison located in a remote region, correct? Russian prisons are highly-secured: nobody can sneak out-or in. Especially when located in the arctic circle. The CIA couldn’t reach Navalny if they wanted to. And if they could, they would have wanted to spring him out, not kill him. No, Navalny was just another of Putin’s opponents, and he met the same fate as most of the others. this video is a bullshit. 1) Here's why: the guy himself admits that many people refuse to answer in front of the camera. Guess why? Because that don't hold proputin position - which is now illegal in Russia and may cost you several years in prison, or death.. in that same prison - would you in this case be courageous enough to speak in front of the camera? doubt that. Conclusion: those answers are cherry-picked and do not represent the full picture of the Russian society mood. 2) I actually think the guy works for kremlin. Why? Well here're the arguments: he makes these videos and given that he's in Russia, KZbin can't pay him for the content. Yes, if you didn't know, KZbin doesn't pay content makers located in Russia. And usually because of that, they ask to support them with money. Well because it is costly to make regular videos, it takes time, energy, and so on, which is costly. If somebody does it for free, maybe he actually doesn't do it for free, and is paid by secret organizations?.. Next, 3) this content shows Russian people in such a color, so that you think that they are all zombies and dumb morons - with very few exceptions just not to draw suspicion - but the vast majority are dumb. Now it is beneficial to kremlin to force Russophobia among foreigners. Why? Because then the propaganda can use it to their advantage, claiming things like "Look how they all hate you! They want you to go extinct! We are the only power that can save you from them! Trust us, not them!" and it works. But, I'm not claiming these people are fake, but they are cherry-picked. So think deeper.

this video is a bullshit.

I agree. It's about the freedom of speech first, because what we call news is chosen by the journalists and editors out of all the events known today. It is obviously determined by their political views, which is normal. The variety matters. The criminal clique in power in my country has always looked at the media as a weapon. The first thing Putin did when he came to power was not a murder, but taking control of the main free TV channel, NTV. Now many people who really want to know the truth do not watch TV at all, let alone state owned. And they understand clearly what happened to Navalny. Most of them probably wouldn't answer such questions, because it is just either already dangerous or will become so in the coming years. So the only people we see in such videos are brainwashed, exceptions are rare.

The timing of the death (two months after a settlement of re-location as with Prigozhen, and weeks before the re-election), this and the refusal to let his family have his body is the evidence of foul play and the modus operandi of the one who stood to benefit.

@@telebubba5527Still, if they asked 100 people for an interview and only 10 were willing to answer the question after hearing it, this is already an indication. Nowadays it is very dangerous to publicly speak your mind in Russia. And telling that you think that Putin killed Navalny on camera requires loads of courage. And sadly but understandably only few people have. Only showing the people who believe in the state narrative and have nothing to fear repeating it biases the perception about what percentage of people they do represent. It leads to believe that (almost) all Russians share their opinion. And this is actually what the Russian regime want everyone to believe as well. So I would rather prefer to know that 90 people didn‘t want to answer the question. Because amongst them will be more than enough people just being too afraid to say that Putin killed Navalny.

I struggle with my thoughts on the Russian people. My mind turns to Maya Angelou’s poem, “ I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings.” “The free bird thinks of another breeze And the trade winds soft through The sighing trees And the fat worms waiting on a dawn-bright Lawn and he names the sky his own. But a caged BIRD stands on the grave of dreams His shadow shouts on a nightmare scream His wings are clipped and his feet are tied So he opens his throat to sing.” The caged bird rages for freedom and opportunities…but not the Russian people. They’re like the freed prison inmate who reoffends only to be sent back to prison. They feel most secure in their cage.

Yves Mntand and Simone Signoret were sympathizers of the left, pro-communists. They signed the call for peace in Stockholm in 1950 - call controlled by Moscow. They demonstrated in defense of the Rosenbergs, sentenced to the electric chair by a New York court, on charges of espionage and stealing the secrets of the American atomic bomb which they then passed on to the Soviets. And so on The Montands are part of the rich, bourgeois, "la gauche caviar" left. In those years, the Korean War was going on. In March 1953 Stalin dies. In June 1953, the labor riots took place in East Berlin. Our heroes are in these situations on the side of Moscow and declare it publicly. All evil they believe is due to the Yankee conspiracy led from the White House, bent on war. But the decisive year comes - 1956. In February, Khrushchev denounced Stalin's crimes at the 20th CPSU congress and caused a shock in the communist world. In the summer, Poland revolts, tensions are heightened to the maximum. In Oct/Nov 1956, the Budapest revolution takes place, followed by the bloody intervention of Red Army tanks. Without changing their old political affiliations, Montand and Signoret start asking themselves questions. In December 1956, he made a concert tour in the USSR and Eastern Europe. He has the opportunity, at Khrushchev's request, to talk "freely" with the Soviet leaders about what happened that year and form his opinion. And it's not exactly positive. When he returns to Paris, he prefers to keep quiet. He does not announce his conclusions, but remains aligned with the communist camp because he still considers it the only alternative to the hated capitalism. The one that had made him rich, though. In the 50s, because of their anti-American and pro-communist attitudes, they were denied a visa for the USA. The 60s mark their emancipation from communism. The decisive moment is the invasion of Czechoslovakia in August 1968, which blocked the reforms of the "Prague Spring" and the hopes for a "socialism with a human face". Unlike in 1956, Montand and Signoret no longer accepted either compromise or silence. Public criticism of what happened in Prague. It clearly denounces Moscow's policy. In an interview, Montand even said, I quote, "who is a communist is vile and dangerous" - dismaying the entire left. No one has gone so far with abjuring old beliefs and self-criticism. Another act of emancipation and protest is added. Namely, he agreed to play in Costa Gavras' film (he had also made "Z" a political film) - Testimony", about the trial in Prague in 1952, when leaders of the Czechoslovak Communist Party were tried and executed for treason. It was a miserable performance. It was the limit. So, before you jump head first, document yourself!
