I once had a friend like Erica. She would constantly sleep with married men and laugh at their wives pain, hurt people or throw them under the bus to get ahead. Eventually I knew to keep my distance because she crossed too many boundaries with me. Recently bumped into her and she looks so lost. Why? She married a man who treats her exactly how she treated me and most people who were around her. Karma is real. Be good to those around you, you never know whose help and support you might need in the future.

I have a sister like that she would sleep with anyone’s husband and she was very devious. I watched her befriend a women and start sleeping with their husbands in their house. She even threatened her daughter and told her she would sleep with her boyfriend. Her whole goal was to destroy any women she deemed a threat. Now she is homeless ( sleeping outside ) and a violent alcoholic lost custody of her children and is mentally ill. I watched her try to destroy lives and her life is destroyed now smh.

May I say something to the young ladies. These men do not want children they only want sex. When you get pregnant you become somebody else then when you have the child you have no time for them or most importantly sex so they lose interest and since they never wanted the child/children in the first place it’s easy for them to move on the satisfy their sexual desires with someone else. Please use protection physically so that you can protect yourself mentally from the trauma these men will cause you!

Erica thought she was a prize and that these men would worship her based on her looks and that would include complexion. I'm back in my parents' house looking for a new place to stay. I got the "people are gonna say my daughter couldn't last in marriage" speech from my mom but I'm using my stubbornness just to stay over the festive season. I'd rather be with an embarrassed mom than a psycho man. I'm planning on using professional mental (and cuddling) services to give myself all the crying time I need. I can somewhat relate to your story. When I packed his loads and decided to end my 3 month marriage because I saw the signs very early, my ex-husband tried to kill me...he actually left me with a nasty scar in the process. It took 6 yrs to divorce the narcissist, but I finally did, and the judge ordered him to pay me. He has recently sent messages to me saying he still loves and misses me. God forbid .🚫 I'll pass...I came too close to death! God saved me. I know better, and I know my worth. I pray that Erica will find peace and be a great mom to her children. Sometimes we view men through rose colored glasses seeing only their potential rather than the harsh reality that this man isn't good for us. He might be great for another woman one day, but never for us. I hope Erica will turn to God for the love, guidance and support she and her children need. No man or any person can fill that void we have in our lives for God because he created us that way.

She is a preference and she thought she 'was' betterwould be treated better than black women with kinky hair (Nikki Minage tried to tell her). She knew Safarre was a colorist and hair texturist and she was happy to play the role (he stated that he couldn't wait to see how 'good' their baby's hair was gonna be. So shallow). A Black man who doesn't love his blackness doesn't love himself and unfortunately, can't love you, even if you are a preference. It's a very hard and humbling lesson that she is learning. And yes, she needs to love herself, holistically.

I think you are right. I friend of mine was offered a part in a ‘reality tv show’. She asked my advice as to whether she should do it and I told her that it would t be something I would not do. All exposure I’d not good exposure and unless you can tightly control the editing, you become the product of whatever narrative production wants to push.

Well to be honest we know Erica has had a terrible attitude towards others. She was a mistress and proud. She has treated other women like shit. And so on. It’s no excuse for what’s happened between her and her husband. But a lot of what’s happening to us is what we’ve chosen for ourselves. She needs to work on herself and give men a break.

Someone need to share this with Erica. I got out without kids but now more than ever I love myself over all. Gracefully excuse myself from men that doesn’t serve what I want to achieve that includes peace n happiness. Journaling and finding myself has been everything n if a man can not support me and music or my career in nursing I want no parts. Entertainers or equivalent to street runners they are boring n played out.
