Taylor makes it SO difficult to actually dislike her once you start truly approaching her with an open mind. Musically? Phenomenal. Personality? Wonderful. Humor? Unmatched. Work ethic? Extraordinary. Clevereness? Undeniable. It's like every time you try to actually find something to keep you from liking her, it just makes you like her all the more. Trust me, that is the EXACT process I went through for MONTHS before I could admit to myself and others that she is just great all around.

@@kerrisouth That's kind of funny. I am surprised to hear about a 50 something woman making fun of a younger female. That there arguably lacks some grace. Aren't older women supposed to support and lead the way for younger women and be forgiving? Maybe she secretly wanted in her life what Taylor did or some of the qualities she has, whether it is looks or courage or success or creative outlets or whatever else. Sometimes we mock in others what we seek in ourselves. But as women we learn pretty early on that we are connected and need and deserve each others' support and not to be jealous at all

Taylor Swift herself posted on her social media that singing and dancing is encouraged at the eras tour film. The opening weekend of the movie was truly meant to be just like the concert experience. There were many weeks after you could go were it would have been much quieter in the theater. All throughout the eras tour the crowd would open their flashlight apps during the song Marjorie in honor of Taylors grandmother. And we did it during opening weekend of the movie as well.

I'm not a big fan of her music generally, but she has some undeniably great song, but I never knew until recently that she wrote Little Big Town's "Better Man" and her video performing that at a surprise show at Nashville's Bluebird Cafe, gave me a whole newfound appreciation of her talent.

I will say I appreciate his honesty about the difficulty in overcoming preconceived notions that society has put on Taylor and her fans for over a decade... but find it funny because as a contrarian I myself got into Taylor because even as a girl there was always a connotation of "embarrassing" around being a Taylor fan, she's always been portrayed by the media as obnoxious and self-victimising and around the 2016 kanye call when everyone hated her is when I finally fully committed to being her fan. Even now that she's so "popular" it feels unpopular to like Taylor and respect her musically and I hope Seb sees that pov at some point.

I have rarely seen a reactor being so dislikable, the intro to this video was pure toxic masculinity and it kind of gave me the ick... You were very judgy and condescending, as well as extremely unkind toward Aaron who's nothing if not immensely sweet, these remarks on his physic were totally uncalled for... As someone who didn't get to go to the Era's Tour, the movie was the closest thing i could afford and i had such a great time, maybe my best evening of all 2023, the Swifties there were absolute angels, we exchanged bracelets, sung, danced and had an absolute blast, moreover Taylor encouraged us to treat the movie as the concert and to dress up, make friendship bracelet, sing and dance, she also did at the premier. The Era's Tour Movie was made by Taylor for Swifties, if you didn't enjoy it maybe it simply wasn't for you. It was for us to enjoy in every way, not to prove something to those who still try to find reasons to dislike her

I am sorry Seb, but I have to disagree with you here, and I hope that after this message you can see the situation from a different perspective. I am a 35-year-old woman and I´ve been a Switie since 2006, so for almost 18 years. I am Venezuelan and attending the Eras Tour is not in the cards for me. Therefore as far as any concert-like experience, the movie is it for me. I will scream and sing all the songs that have been the soundtrack of my life for so many years. I will NOT make myself smaller, or quieter, for you or for anyone else. I will not make myself less to become "acceptable" to men. Society keeps asking women to become smaller, to occupy less space, to express less, to BE less. Have you ever seen a woman ask men to be quiet during the Superbowl, soccer game, or any concert? No, right? It doesn´t happen. Women can be big, bold, and assertive and that shouldn´t bother you, but unfortunately, society has taught men that being loud, big, or even noticed isn´t feminine. Have you ever thought about why so many men hate TS online? It`s exactly for this reason, for them, she is "too much", or maybe they aren´t enough. I´d suggest you pay attention to the lyrics of "The Man"; maybe that song expresses the issue far better than I ever could. Have a lovely day.

Love her talent, as a songwriter, her vocals especially her lower register, and some of- hey @ 4.48, don't give My man Aaron Dessner a hard time- he produced both of the sister albums! And is in another band. And forming a project with Justin Vernon from Bon Iver, (the male voice in Exile), and I find their voices work well together. It is a very pretty song @ 15.54, I agree about the soothing effects of the song. I think one other interpretation on other songs, about the golden string, is that it's featured on the both albums through other songs and especially the music videos, in "Cardigan ", and "Willow". As for the recent events this year- the Eras Tour, the TicketMaster debacle and the deaths due to the heat and lack of water...it must be awful for her. I do think there's more than meets the eye, as she's just dropped the song "Stop you're losing me", on streaming services. A song which sounds completely aimed at Joe, her Bf for 6years, I feel sad for him, as ppl are blaming him for the Break up, and sending death messages complaining that he is boring, and could not stand her fame...leave the guy alone.
