This rule made JUCO viable again. JUCOs became the third option after elite HS players and then portal, now these guys get four years after two years of development is big plus

@iamlegendyt_ being drafted high doesn't matter he's not in the league anymore. Being in college another yesr would've made him alot better and ready for the pro level. He would've been stronger, faster all that stuff.

I think this is needed in the current CFB landscape. More players in the pool means there will be a little more competition and the NIL moneys will be distributed more reasonably

in the old days, ou would send hs players to juco cuz they couldn't fix the gpa to qualify ncaa regs, as all schools did. then after getting gpa up for 2yrs..come to ou to finish. ou would cover tuition but it didn't always work out

Have you guys thought about reaching out to some of the players leaving to find out the root cause? Is it all about money or playing time? Do you think all those wide receivers were really hurt ? Is it a coincidence that they suddenly healed when it came portal time?

Like Gabe ikard said the NFL will not like this and they will just start allowing them to be drafted with the one and done rule this can bite college football in the butt I think it’s possible

JUCO is viable again. Before… JUCO was viewed as not being good enough to compete with the big boys. Now… JUCO is a prep FOR the big boys. So many JUCO players were overlooked just because of the JUCO ranks. I ready for this and see where it takes CFB. Give everyone a shot. They’ve been playing basically their whole life just like all the others. Some of the players on OU came from JUCO and they’ve been great players.

Some of you guys in the comments don't understand what' going on here. Yeah there's always been Juco guys and they haven't been the best guys to build a roster with, but it used to be however many years in juco you spent counted towards 4 years eligibility so you get that transfer and usually get one year, and maaaybe 2 years of guy that might help your team but doubtful as an NFL prospect and their eligibility runs out. Now however... A guy can spend 1, 2, 3, 4 years in juco and it doesn't count towards their 4 years of ncaa eligibility since they werent able to "earn" NIL in D1 during those times so they are allowed 4 earning years no matter what. So getting a Juco JR that has 4 years left could be a hell of a lot better prospect for the programs now. And remember, JuCO guys that go to D1 most of the time didn't need to develop talent in Juco they just couldn't pass the academic entry standards. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Man I had no idea that Seth Littrell was the death knell for my Sooners. His suckage destroyed Jackson Arnold and our whole offense. Now we are stuck celebrating picking up players from Podunk State and the chance that some JUCO guys might come. I hope Arbuckle gets kids to have confidence in our offense again so the want to play here.

Oklahoma needs a better scout .

I'm not going to diss on Juno players ( we've had some ) but my issue is being disappointed with recruiting good, experienced players. How long should a position coach be allowed to stick around if they can't recruit a decent player? We know Joe John will most likely be gone after the bowl however I think BB should also get axed. He is lazy and overrated.
