New cameras are a great improvement. Sound was pretty good even while you were sawing. Seemed to stay good even as light was fading. During your closing in the last minute you could tell light was waning because your image did get a little grainy. All in all I'd say these new cameras were a good move. Man- the new building looks HUGE compared to the old rabbit coop! Gonna be a nice shop! I'm Jealous!

The video quality was amazing.....at times it almost looked like you were standing in front of a "green screen!" The low light never even seemed to be an issue, seems like a great investment! I enjoyed hearing your thoughts as you worked through the log. The sound of the sawmill was over your voice a little, but I would still prefer hearing what you are doing. Thanks for another great video Nathan, cant wait to see the progress made on the new workshop! Take care!

When you were speaking behind the log, the lighting improved when you were right next to the log. The follow feature was really nice especially when following the carriage. The DJI camera is awesome and the video is very clear in the low light. I am watching from New Zealand and I think you have invested well with those cameras. The commentary you make during the sawing is clear too. The panning of the camera is smooth and does not give you dizziness if you struggle with motion sickness. Thanks for the lovely videos.

The new camera is outstanding! A suggestion, I watched a vid where the sawyer was trying to capture the sawdust. He uses a bucket like you do but put a "spash shied" on the outside and was able to capture more sawdust by doing so. Since he had a 40 he was able to empty the bucket after just a few passes. Again, I really like your new camera set-up!

The new camera works well. The sound quality is more important to me, clear voice. The microphone works very well and is clear during sawing. Excellent sound. The new Post Frame building will be even better. Looking forward to seeing the progress.

Footage was great, but even earlier in the day and all through the video, the image was a bit darker than normal? The color tones and brightness made it look a bit muted. Maybe a contrast setting in the camera? Again, it looked great, but that was just my take and some constructive criticism. Love the channel Nathan!

Looks and sounds great and tracking seems fine. New building Looks great too. The one thing I did notice is that on the automatic settings in low light, you looked just a tad dim when it adjusted the brightness to keep the brighter areas behind you from being washed out. Still very reasonable though. You should have absolutely no problem once you get electricity and lightning. (Then you can start using your collection system again)

And just something to think about. Sawdust collection. How about a container built on a pallet or something that could be picked up by Mr. Kato like pallet based. Get a hose that would fit into the box and also long enough to follow the sawmill in it's full track. It looks like you might not need the vacuum blower you used at the other building but after you get power going you could put the blower on the box to move the sawdust into the box. When you feel the box is full of sawdust you could pick it up and move it to the compost pile. At first maybe just pushing it over or maybe one side could be hinged and open up like the kiln doors open. Just some future thoughts from someone that sits and watches a lot of KZbin videos. Thumbs up to your entire KZbin site!!!

Looked great to me, as a new subscriber for about a week, and I binged the last year of all your videos over the course of the past week, this was just as good as the rest. I am not much of a DJI fan even though I have a couple of their cameras, but their subject tracking is close to perfect! Very smooth all the way through the sawmill's travel. The color and light is also pretty impressive. I have watched your videos for several years now and I do not ever remember this kind of clarity and color rendering. I am seeing things in the LT70, especially the power plant, that I had never noticed before. I hope they work out for you! Great video
@scottquigley3887Сағат бұрын
Nathan the video quality is very good, nice investment. I like the tracking feature following the saw, but wonder if you might want to turn it off when you are in front of the camera speaking. You sometimes shuffle a little side to side - perfectly normal, wouldn't even usually notice, EXCEPT with the camera tracking you it picks that up and it's a bit annoying. It's great when the saw is movig, I think because it is moving smoothly and in the same direction for a period of time. Great work!
