He admits he was pulling some all nighters with no sleep indulging in drugs & alcohol while shooting the film . He had that sweaty con look . I'm 50 from November 2023 and this was my favorite haunting, realistic, gang flick as a kid before I had a clue what it was remotely all about. Then COLORS came along later with a different savage to it while I was still coming up. Without THE WARRIORS there would be no COLORS flick. I think one of his Best Roles was in the little seen Horror film-Tales From The Darkside-The Movie. He appeared in a Segment called Lovers Vow which was a Remake of one of the Stories from the Japanese film Kwaidan. Anyway It's definitely worth checking out in Case you haven't seen It.
