I'm from the Netherlands and I heard this song by this awardwinning choir at the beginning of the pandemie in 2020. It still moves me time and time again. These young people singing in front of a camera each alone in their own room.... and still, évery! face lights up and shows the meaning of the words, authentic and full of compassion. Mankind at its best. Thank you.

The pandemic was hard on many people. Many people died, many people lost their incomes. Many people suffered from isolation. I was afraid of dying and make my daughters orphans. To see and hear these beautiful faces sing this beautiful song gave me much needed joy during this time.

This, and all of SU Choir's lovely sounds in KZbin, is lifting me up as much as the antibiotics. It's a reminder that music can bring or increase hope inside us. There is no greater gift other than true love. Thank you Andre van der Merwe for your inspired arrangements, and to everyone who makes the SU Choir the best in the world every year. I'm so happy. It has gotten to a point that anything sang by this Choir must and I repeat must be nice in my ears. What a clean piece. I hail you my favorite choir

Marius Small-Smith het is heel apart om het zo goed te verstaan, ik ben Nederlands en kan elk woord verstaan, het is hier en daar net anders, het lijkt een dialect.

I visited South Africa a couple times in the 80's and 90's. This choir makes my heart sing! Things are different now from that time!

Wow! As a critical choir singer I just want to say that I loved it! Nice to recognize the afrikaans that contains a lot of my mothertongue Dutch. And the lyrics are well pronounced!

Is ongelooflik mooi.
