Sorry it's been a while, haven't been driving for a month or two.
Pretty much the usual stuff here, people unaware of their surroundings or simply not having a bloody clue what they're supposed to do with that big round thing in front of them

I think every exit on the motorway should be monitored by cameras and people that do cross the hatchings should be sent a fine the post and get points on their licence. It's not hard to look at the signs and plan ahead.

Very first clip... does vehicle make you change speed or direction? No? Well maybe it's just someone who can judge, anticipate and blend into traffic on a roundabout, without stopping... which oddly enough is what the Highway code used to recommend. The dangerous ones are those who stop, then start to pull out and stop again.

Del Cat, I gotta agree. I always take the view that if they haven't caused me to change speed or direction with their actions, fine by me. If, of course, I'm standing on the ABS, crying "Don't take me yet, Lord!"; then that's a different matter!!

Fair point but fortunately this wasn't a round about. Had it been then there could quite easily have been traffic on my offside which that vehicle would not have seen and judging by his speed, he would not have been able to stop in time.

I must say, i still would have stopped for the truck becaurse that was somewhat a close call. It is dangerous though to enter a crossing that fast...

The junction has dotted lines, not solid ones therefore no requirement for him to stop. His vehicle as also fairly tall so he has good visibility. If he had entered it slowly, that would have necessitated the driver of the dash cam vehicle to brake!

Except for rule 172 of the Highway Code which states: The approach to a junction may have a ‘Give Way’ sign or a triangle marked on the road. You MUST give way to traffic on the main road when emerging from a junction with broken white lines across the road. Laws RTA 1988 sect 36 & TSRGD regs 10(1),16(1) & 25

We're still snowbirds.... just not flying south this winter. Starting next year, we'll be south again every winter from now on. Just been working on our Canadian Citizenship, and since we're eligible this year, no more winters required. We love everything about Canada, except the winter weather! LOL
