@@dieseJL You and W8iHav2p, hit on a subject soap box for me ! We little guy customers in need do not count any more ! Like Banks do not want to loan money for less than millions, even the small excavation companies do not want to do less than $80 - 100 k jobs in a way they have priced themselves out of a market ! In my day we did jobs that made a little profit, which is better than "No profit," my point is, this is laziness that does not serve all society.

At least around here those grow back like crazy, we have a pond where we cut down 80% every autumn when it is completely full of them and less than a year later its back to the same again. You have to get rid of it or it will sink to the bottom and start creating these muddy deposits and lowering oxygen saturation until it eventually "tips over".

Some engines are just bad starters due to lower compression ration. Better for higher power, but bad for starting. Valves can leak causing some compression to be lost, lapping them can help and you can even grind the seats with cheap tool from china. Sure they are not perfect, but I have had great success with them. Valves can be ground using a bench grinder and home made setup for the correct angle and just hand drill. But lapping is also ok if the seats are not too pitted. Now if after that you still have bad starting, then it is most likely bad rings or worn out bore / both.

Your father was doing a great job running the trac hoe for a beginner. The more time he spent playing with it the better he became, IMPO!😊 The main reason you got the Dozer stuck was because you went blade first down the slope on the hill. Had you come from a better direction I doubt you would have had any issues. I do wonder why you seemed worried about getting the trac hoe stuck with Dozers to free it? Lastly trees can be used to make temporary Mats to support the tracks. You'd need a minimum of two to move around. The pond turned out awesome and dad had Fun while getting a ton of work done. I think I'd have paid to help run the machines as I took like having fun while I work 😂😂. Merry Christmas and Happy New year from Minnesota 🎉🎉🎉. 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯⭐

👍👍👍have got a mid eighties 20E over here... it's currently been in layup for the past 12 year's or so.. because of various issues, including fuel in the engine lube oil... which is coming from the injection line under the valve cover.. which fastens to connector fitting through head to the injector... if u pull the valve cover and run engine you'll see what i mean... perhaps you've already found thr issue..i couldn't ever get it to quit,.. perhaps sll it needs is a replacement or lapping or something...i tried various methods that I can't quite recall..🤣... The engine has got other problems that finally forced me to park the machine...lastly the starter which is a complete pain in the ass to get to...V8 diesel engines don't belong in bulldozers...or anything in my opinion, which no one cares about that, but anyway, the 20E is gonna get a 6 cylinder swap...once all the parts are gathered..nice project you feller's got there.. thanks for another video.. take care 👍👍👊
