The trailers they put out was not very appetizing to the general audience. The string of combos looked too hard, the multi lane playstyle looked too confusing. Also the animations are technically good, but it has a lot of key frame issues, similar to how people find Mortal Kombat stiff.

@@HellecticMojo according to their website 1. Characters feature approximately 800 frames of meticulously crafted artwork. 2. HD sprite frames (line, shade and color data) are layered and composited together blended in engine. 3. Characters and stages take advantage of dynamic lighting and other shader FX for a detailed and polished result. looking at this, it when they mix the animation with the game engine that they used that it become a small issue!

I like the In-Game Animation. You can really tell that the Animation team really knew what they were doing. My only criticism is that the Character Animation could have more Character to it like Skullgirls.

Diesel in the name but looks more general interwar/20s style. The super special animation reminds me of CDi, not in a bad way thou. I don’t see the point the X plane. From this video alone it just seems like a quick dodge so to me it just feels like a gimmick. Moves very fast despite being very well drawn and detailed. Def got to play this game for myself one day
