I love these step by step instructions! I still haven't gotten the tools and supplies to start leather working, but these videos make me feel more confident already!

Thank you for showing the kind, and weight of the leather!!! I really appreciate it. And, don't worry about those bothered by the video title. complainers must want to control. I think the title is hilarious, great even. lol

Having the right tools that means you always get lucky with the quality. Which is so important I understood the title as I am an artist and without proper tools it is more about luck if a project turns out great. Anyway can you do a tutorial on making York boots with hand stitching only no metal rivets cause that would be so handy.

Tony, I'm so happy I found your channel. Thanks for sharing your knowledge ❤ what is that pink knife you use in every video? I want the same to buy. I'm a begginer and collecting tools by your recomendations ❤

Hi Tony, where can I find the tool handle you use for the snaps, about 10 minutes in, that would be super handy. Thanks. Can't wait to make one of these for my partner 😊

Is there not a risk of the layers coming apart at the edges without the use of glue? Or does the burnishing gum do enough to stick them together? Wallet looks lovely but just wondering about the longevity?
@DieselpunkRo16 күн бұрын
You can absolutely add glue but I stitched close to the edge so I know this won’t be an issue

General question: ain't the leather quite thick? I mean I do have the problem, because I did one wallet with too thick (thickness maybe 1-2mm more than the leather in this video) and one with too thin leather. First one was too big for my pockets, second one ripped my coin purse flap. Any ideas which layers should be heavier and which could be compromised?
@sewsableАй бұрын
Is there any way to make it with 8 card slots and the coin purse? I really want a decent wallet, but as I hold my son's stuff as well as mine I need the extra slots.
@DieselpunkRoАй бұрын
Afraid not. Its one or the other
@TM4N19 күн бұрын
Well you could look for a trifold. So you got an extra "half" like a giant flap. Though it would make it even thicker in sum. Or you could try and make half the wallet with a vertical card slot accompanied with a small zipper bag for coin. I feel your problems. I have stacked 2 cards each slot in mine, which is like the one presented in this video
