As a Stoltman Brothers fan, i bow down to you on your continued success ... the bar has most definately been increased by quite abit .. the competition need to work better and cleverer to catch up. Nutrition is right up there, and yes i saw the rant about the foodhall in the hospital (which i thought was slightly mis-placed)... pleased we have you as an ambassabor to get the message out to improve mobility & diet ...the 2 kings of living a healthy life (which can all fall apart if people stress levels are too high .... which seems increasingly to be the case in this fast paced world).

This video series is fantastic! I did my first strongman contest in January and I want to keep competing. As a 28 year old, the old school earing 15000 calories and training every single day just isn't practical or really good for the long term. I'm not an old man, but I'm not a really a young buck anymore either. These videos give grrat explanations on smart ways to go about being a strength athlete while also being as healthy as possible. Few things I want to point out/ask: 1. What about water? I don't see you drinking a lot of it, how is it? Water is also a great source of magnesium and calcium, a lot of people seems not knowing that. 2. Talking about magnesium. Eating a full fist of nuts a day is not enough? Why pills are necessary? 3. Vitamin D. How long I need to be shirtless in full sun to syntesis enough vit D for my body? I am scared of my body beeing "lazy" in syntesis when I am giving it in pills. You know what I mean? Like using cream for my face making my body making less sebum. 4. Isn't skyr and kefir better option than yoghurt? How about inflamation because of diary products? Inflamation is because of lactose in this products? 5. When you are drinking orange juice, try to find cold pressed ones. It doesn't "kill" vit C, from what I know. 6. It is worth to see benefits from beetroot and its juice. Really. And green tea! 7. Talking about caffeine... Coffee seams to poison my body. I know it is subjective but... Are the evidence about that subject? 8. A lot of fiber (like 100g of oats for breakfast) make my stomach working not naturally, like I need to go to toilet VERY often per day. It is why not many sportsman eats oats nowadays? 9. Is gluten something I should be aware? I fell much better when I eat products without it or only a little. How about you? Is rice better for your than pasta in terms of "feeling"? 10. I am eating five eggs per day. Is it unhealthy for me? Sports people seems to eat less and less eggs. 12. Cinnamon and cacao are very beneficial. What do you think about that? 13*. Congratulations about winning your title! You are showing that strongman is not about freak of natures on steroid (I am from country of Pudzianowski...), but the sport which can give people a lot to learn about health! Soo... A lot of good health from Poland Champion!

Loved this episode. This series gives clear information about certain parts of the strength sport and als the scientific research. I used to take and try multiple supplements but found that, funnily enough, only vit-D and magnesium benefit me. So those are the only two sups I actually take next to a regular healthy diet of course.

Thank you for this video Mitch! The knowledge is invaluable. I've recently started my fitness journey 3 weeks ago. Cutting the junk, supplementing right and keeping protein high. So far I've lost 7lbs and appear to have not lost any muscle mass. I think I'll be putting OJ and yoghurt on my shopping list for next week 💪😃 Have a great week!

I love this series. After a career in the military, I have several injuries that I need to overcome, so all this info is a huge benefit to someone like me. Maybe CrossFit isn’t the best exercise platform to get addicted to, but we can’t help who we fall in love with….so here I am. 😂😂

@@mitchellhooperstrongmanI believe Episode 1 has been my favorite. Giving some validity to manual therapies like physio and Ciro was nice to hear. I have some injuries that require surgery to repair, and at best get 70% of mobility back. I feel that physio and Ciro allows me at least 70% for a couple of weeks and I can avoid a few major surgeries that may make me no better, plus require significant time away from the gym. Now, having said that...I did just go buy a jug of OJ to mix with my yogurt. So, I may have a new favorite 😂😂
