I still have no idea how to do my macros which is why carnivore diet is where I’m at right now with intermittent fasting. I need help on determining what my macros need to be. Everyone's protein needs vary. So the most important thing is to get your macros right. For PSMF, you should meet or exceed your protein goal while keeping fat at or under 30g. Do not do this more than 3 times per week while weight loss is a goal. Once you reach within 10 pounds to goal it is time to stop PSMF because you won't have enough excess body fat for the body to use as fuel, so you'll likely feel sluggish and low on energy. Can your ketones be low but burn fat using fatty acids? I'm experiencing low ketones with carnivore diet. Some influencers said low ketones meant you are not using fat as energy.

There is zero scientific evidence that high blood ketones yields more or faster fat loss. Get your macros right, stay under 20g total carbs per day and you will be in ketosis :)
