Thats the joy of just following your muse. One day its a techno banger like Government Knows, then its a fluffy extended chord ballad, and then you've got a bunch of aggravated clowns stuck in a portapotty, and finally back home for an extended jazz jam. Kill Genre, play everything!

I'm speechless. This harmony, this arrangement, the melody, her sweet voice, the whispering, it's all so perfect. ❤️❤️
@TribalHeartMusic3 жыл бұрын
The harmony is actually amazing, it beautifully delays resolution of the progression, so we don't get the restful feeling we expect, it only builds up tension over and over, while it doesn't really release it, masterful

@@TribalHeartMusic It's super interesting, I tried to get the chords right but can't get the full loop yet. I've got Gm11add9 - C7sus4 - Eb13 - Dbmaj7 and then the bass goes G, Db, G, F I think. Help me out!

Pulled a moonshaped pool on us potentially with this song. But that is more than alright with me if you feel that this is your swan song as Knower (even if I would be absolutely devastated and lost). Your music has saved my life. Genevive, Louis, and both of you as Knower. The percussion has a delayed and almost syncopated guttural way of side swiping you with emotions left and right of your heart. You not only keep me breathing still, but also inspire me to carry on with my music endeavors. I love you guys.

Mesmerizing song. It’s like there’s a bunch of chords and notes scattered on a kitchen table like puzzle pieces and someone fits them together but it’s not the puzzle image on the box. It’s better actually. And I can’t figure out how or why. ❤

@@theultimatefoodserviceempl4453 I've never even heard that song before. What are the chances that'll be the very last (current) Knower song I hear, before their new batch of songs come out? That would be funny, if I heard their best stuff first but not their most well-known thing that isn't considered very good? But- I can't imagine anything they would ever put out would be mediocre, given the super high quality of everything else.

Yes... it's hard given all the shreddery, but maybe because this song is NOT about shreddery but just about pure otherworldly beauty and love transcending space and time... it's really heavy man. I think if they had just done this one song they'd be a band for the ages. Their other songs are, for me, a fantastic bonus.

This might well be one of the most moving and beautiful musical pieces i have ever laid ears upon. The feeling of looking forward to listening to it has not waned at all since i discovered it a year ago. The thrill when the chord progression starts.. oofff. i am blown away every time. Now, does anyone have the sheet music of these awesome chords? I mean the actual precise chords, no simplified version. If not, i’ll take an afternoon and endeavor to figure them out myself. I would love to play them on the piano over and over and over :)
