Heavily disagree with this one. That second one you just need to refine your double picking technique. Double picking is hard, but the speed of that particular one is pretty slow. Even just watching, you can tell that your alt picking technique isnt nearly as refined as your down picking or gallops, look at how much the guitar moves during each riff, and its easy to tell that you're super tense in the double picking section. Just the familiarity with the techniques, itll even out over time.

Yup. It's so fast, you can't really even think of it as a gallop when playing. You're conscious of what you're playing, but it's really a controlled reflex at that point.
