Do you do reclamation on your digs?
@lindaglory61364 жыл бұрын
I can't wait to see your face when one of those chunks of rock you throw over your hill come flying right back at you. I feel "Daryl" is standing just behind it... Glad you are out there. Be safe, be well. Luv ya both; GRAM in TEXAS

Is digging in a National forest legal? I just thought it wouldn’t be! Happy digging!
@devinbryne92082 жыл бұрын
Yes it's legal in national forest but not in national parks.

There's an astonishing new invention called a CHISEL, dude. Save yr screwdrivers for screws.

Check out the 2 red spots on the far left @ 35:30. Faces? Also, @35:44 on right just beneath the brown pine comb, is that a face in the dark triangle shape? The shaking may be caused by them in the trees. Luv; GRAM in TX.

LOL "we got a cluster, wanna come and see it guys?" Can you show these crystals cleaned up please. Thank you for zooming to see if the peeper can be filmed. Lovely Colorado's tough yet dainty flowers. Appreciate tagging along with you folks.

We've tried, they don't clean up. Perma-Iron. Knowing this now I probbaly wont even take these home now when I find them unless they're really something!!

Living in Connecticut, I had no idea that rockhounding was allowed/permitted in National Forests. Why is it allowed? I'll bet No reclamation is done when all your digging is completed. I know it is not permitted in National Parks.

Are you guys near an airport? It seems like there is always an airplane flying over...or are they monitoring you? Duh, duh, duh.
@Rockhounding-with-Bigfoot3 жыл бұрын
I think it's just Colorado. We're a little over 6k feet up here, and the planes flying over are probably not as far away as in every other state. ?!?? maybe. Otherwise no not at all...

HEY MAN! I don't know if you boy's know this or not? Cause until just here recently, I didn't either? But they make 2 stroke gas powered jack hammers now. Might help ya out? Nice video. Later man
@Rockhounding-with-Bigfoot3 жыл бұрын
wow that is awesome! Had no idea. We hooked up my jackhammer to my generator up near the south platte for a test. Worked like a charm. I didn't want to break any rules though so we only tested it, ran it for a minute and stopped...

Are all drones that noisy? It’s great to see you guys! I love watching you guys rocking out!
@Rockhounding-with-Bigfoot3 жыл бұрын
Yes they all are. The motors need to be small, and to make up for that they are very powerful. So they make a lot of wind for their size. No drones record audio unless from the remote or your phone, for this reason.

Great job landing the drone. Last time I landed a drone, I'm missing two propellers.
@Rockhounding-with-Bigfoot3 жыл бұрын
lol!!! I have the remote for it, it makes ALL the difference. I would not even recommend a DJI drone without having the remote =)

Maybe instead of belittling people who don't know what they're doing while rockhounding, you can teach us how to find cool rocks

ooh Later part of 9:07 you can see some thing/one dark move just to the right of the centre beyond the smaller rock in front of the three bigger rocks to it's right. ive got a screenshot if you want to see it. not sure how to get it to you though. and around 34:34 through to 34:50 there's whispering. at first I thought it was Dustin, but then he speaks and it's a completely different tone.

Greg, next time, focus more on those red looking clumps in the trees. They look like faces. Mark says that they use the red pine clumps to hide in. Give it a closer, zoomed in shot. Luv ya, stay safe & well; GRAM in TEXAS
