I did a pull tab/nickel dig one time using the ace250 and notched everything out except those targets. found 3 gold rings in that hunt. You did awesome and banged out a silver ring with just the pinpointer Amazing. Your Daughter did well filming.. Happy Hunting. Peace

Always dig the pull tab signal. Same as my gold wedding ring and 2 gold rings found this year. Of course plenty of pull tabs and various of other metal stuff, but got to dig it.

That last silver ring was a real looker, and it makes it even better to pull it out with a twig! That has to be a first. But there's no way that ring came up as a 14 if it was silver which is why I try to stay away from digging all the pull tabs as it takes you away from finding real treasure like that. It's just a numbers game. Nice hunt though.

I have never found a marked piece of jewelry there, but many one and two dollar coins. Yes, you did and I usually do but I guess I need to show it more.. usually trash. The last find was a surface find behind one and it was a large hoop earring. I am amazed that I found it and dug it up with a stick...lol. I would love it if we got rid of pennies and had a two dollar coin... I still plan on getting Anna out and see her actually detect... that would be awesome... I am so proud. She is my artist that I always show her work.

Morning guys, you must have gotten up early to load this nice video. Here's a tip when detecting a park with a basketball court, walk around the edge with your detector not swinging it. I have never done that and not found coins, also check the ground around the court where people would sit and watch. Happy hunting.

This challenge was a lot of fun, Bill. It would be interesting to do this challenge again with the Manticore because of its expanding target range. I love the Equinox but the 11- 14 range can be punished as you demonstrated.. Bill

A long time ago I told you that I go about 30 miles from home either direction. I am never afraid to let the world know where I go. The beaches and parks get replentished every day. The good part is no one gets it all. Short story.... Two of my friends were out of work and used to go every day. They took apart a park one day. Hit it really hard. I worked then, so I could only hunt on weekends. It was a misty morning when I got to the park at 6 am. Two hours into the hunt I found a 14k ring. I called my one friend and let him know. He in turn called my other friend. Both showed up to see the ring. It had been in the ground for a long time because it was a white gold ring that was yellowed with time. It has 47 diamonds that my jeweler said they were all quality. He appraised it at $5,000. My friends were shocked that they missed it. They had told me I wasn't going to find much. Moral of the story is no one gets it all even if you hunt in teams.
