3 scrambles seems like a lot considering you’re hardly ever going to get to evo with it and the best way for people to play around Ancient is to not leave anything on board for a turn.

Valid! When I first tinkered with the deck, I really liked being able to recycle the Ancientgarurumon after it was deleted via it's effect from Lobo and then recycling Lobo to hand. Because if you have a level 3 in the back, or another level 3 in play, you're able to Lobo and Ancient again the next turn.

@ that is really good of course. It just feels like a wasted spot other than that though.

I know not being able to use the trainings with the tamers to digi feels bad, but using a training on a beowolf with promo under it to go into Ancient feels GREAT!.... and being able to use the training when warping into Melga opens up plays, so I guess I'm saying I like trainings in Ancient (but I'm no expert lol)

I ended up dropping Beowolf and using just the BT7 variant at 2 copies. Really dampers my opponent's ability to do some stuff with their level 4's.

Most decks these days are about speed and OTK. The crackback potential on this deck is huge.

If only KendoGaru was a fetch-able with Bt15 Matt, would have made this deck work better. Not a bad build.

That's the only downside. I mainly use Matt to just find Rookies and the top end XD

Been play testing this on DCGO after seeing the updates! I swapped out the promo Gabumons for the BT1 one and it works really well. Matt also got bumped up another copy for the Gabubond play. But it felt really smooth.

I noticed with this and the Agubond list that you didn't use the BT-06 Bond cards. I feel like it some cases especially the Tamers could still be viable as a resource engine, especially if you lean harder with the other cards. But with the Tamer synergy, working with Hybrids makes sense.

The warp from Agumon and Gabumon for the Bond cards fropm BT6 only work with the presence of their respective tamers. It's unfortunate :( but with the ACE variants no tamer necessary :3

@DIGI-PANDA Very true. Though I guess you can evo them off your level 6s just fine hahaha. Just pondering if the tamers themselves are worth it since you're running the respective level 3s for the Aces anyway. 1 draw and 1 memory for showing up is indeed nice. And I guess a second way to warp. Yeet your own security for the sheer speed. Not the best idea, even back then, but always funny.

I think the level 5s need to go. They feel too much like a backup plan. And digimon doesn't have room for backup plans. Also, since other decks are aiming for OTKs, having 1-3 security bombs that remove bodies feels required. Even if they are never in security, the opponent seeing 1 in a search has a good chance of scaring them into not attacking for a turn, not pushing out for a turn, or pressure them into rushing, giving you the chance to kill them with that one more turn or play error. I also think you could squeeze 1 Scramble out of the deck. And if you want to keep level 5s, I think 1 old JetSilphymon would be better than the old beowolfmon. Even if you cannot evo in MetalGarurumon.

Valid! I'm honestly unsure if the level 5's are worth it. If anything the another promo Lobomon and 2 bombs might be a good fight. The warp is restrictive on Melga was one thing. But overall, I see the vision.
