Ordered an A4 sheet of carbon fiber 3mm. Cut with power tools then refine the finish by hand.

Thanks! You can still make this without soldering just connect the included wires. It just more compact and neater soldered. Soldering is quite an easy skill to learn.

I use a cheap Duratech 40w soldering iron I have used this one for car stereo installs, rewiring an electric guitar and these sim projects. Also you will need some solder, just get a small pack or small spool of 1mm solder.

I made this and I can't thank you enough great job. I am having a small problem that maybe you could help me with. the screen works great but every now and then it reverts back to screen one so when I'm looking a lets say the time screen it will go back to the rpm screen by itself. Good question, apparently some versions have driver issues, but that can be fixed with and update. Get the same looking one that I used, had no issues connecting.

For all the parts, I usually just do a search in google. Ebay and Aliexpress are a good start. Then find the cheapest including postage. Some other items are brought locally.
