So, what I'd do for the goggles is make them open, then fill them in with a clear (or colored) acrylic
@antibodyarmy5 жыл бұрын
at 6:55 in 3d builder you can dupe the goggles, take one large rectangle and use the subtract feature while selecting the duped goggle to make a negative of the goggle shape and then use that negative on another rectangle to then make a positive to plac inside the goggles.

@@3DPrintedTabletop I would recommend checking out Spelljammer if you haven't. Think fantasy with fantasy's version of scifi. Like spaceships made of wood sailing between the planets and/or planes that are nestled in the branches of the world tree type stuff. It's been years since I've played it but I'm planning to surprise my group by introducing it to the current campaign. It was originally for AD&D but there are some conversions to different systems floating around.

Depending on what slicer program you're using, you might not even need to use a separate program for combining your models. A lot of times, when I'm printing a mini with a separate base, I'll often print them both together, with the model already positioned on the base, and they'll come out as one solid print.

I noticed you shrunk the goggles too much, they’re too small to cover his eyes... 😅😂😅😂 I was also thinking, you could also just leave the goggles clear and cut out any piece of clear plastic, like a clear plastic cup, or sandwich wrap and use that for "glass". Alternately, you could use regular paper glue, or that white model glue specifically made to mimic glass.
