Rich: I wanted to put an outline on text in Photo V2 using Blacksword from dafont. Characters very thin in places. Outline really didn't work. So, I added a black outline to black type using the Character dialog box which made the characters thicker (should work with any color as long as the type and outline are the same) - basically changing text to bold which was not an option in the dafont download. Then I went to FX and added my outline there. The result was just as I had planned. As these are non destructive changes, I was able to go back and froth between the Character box and the FX box to get the desired effect. This should work for adding an outline to any really thin font elements.

Hello, thank you. Can we put a mask on FX now?

I don't think so.

Richard you missed some real important FX features. For one, with the Shadows you have an Offset Tool. Using this tool, you can drag on the object on your canvas to move the shadow around. How about applying different types of gradients, like Linear, Radial, Elliptical and Conical. The Shadow Offset Tool is very powerful.

We always were able to drag the shadow around. The rest are great tips. Thanks.

Try watching it again. KZbin uploads sd before 4k. I create the videos in 4k. It should be in 4k by now.

Yea, you gotta give it a min. It’s a KZbin encoding thing
