This is not a review. Preview at best. There is no in-depth testing, not comparative metrics except for delta-e...What about response time, input lag, contrast etc? Is this normal for this channel?
@drunkhusband6257

Response time on oled is minimal. unknown input lag, contrast on oled is infinite
@matejnemec3022
@matejnemec3022 8 ай бұрын
@@drunkhusband6257 Even if minimal, it should still be tested so should under/over shoot, cumulative error and so on. Input lag on a gaming monitor is one of the most important metrics. And while contrast on oleds is theoretically infinite QD OLEDS have the coating that tends to make blacks grey when there is an outside light source so that should be tested as well. And plenty of other things are missing as well. In other words this is a pathetic excuse for a review.

@@zachmullins9444 Careful. I would control my impulse and just wait till the majority of these products are out. There might be other OEM with better features coming out as well that were not on CES. @Kapono5150 Heyo! I'm in love with the monitor. 1440p looks fine, but it does look a little off. Maybe that's just going from 4K to that resolution? I'm running a 12700k and a 4090 so 4k is between 120 - 240 FPS for me, so I just haven't played at 1440. The firmware is fine. I just keep HDR off on my Windows for now, and they are getting ready to release a patch for the Dolby Vision bug on their firmware in March. I think it's an incredible monitor and 99% of people who haven't experienced a monitor like this will be blown away. The 1% of people who whine about everything are the loudest voices.

@Kapono5150 I've had 0 issues with Gsync. I have been running DisplayPort and haven't had to think about it. Also i don't understand this obsession with brightness now, i have the aw3423dw and i have to put the brightness mode in SDR to 56% because generally the panel is so bright that it blinds me, and should be good to your eyes having the brightness maxed out. And in HDR it even more brighter and in some games the sun actually makes me squint my eyes. and surfing the internet just blinds me. And im super happy with aliens ware 3423dw ultawide for the win and 175 refresh rate is more than enough, come on, even with a high end graphics card it going to struggle at most games to reach over 120 fps, and lets not talk at 4k insted of 1440p .

WHats the point of a curve on a 32" 16"9 wtf? I'll wait for other brand with flat screen as the display is flexible {pun intended} Also the brightness is super low even that 1000nits is misleading as nothing covers just 1% of the display especially on a 32" screen. There should be a standard 10% & 100% screen brightness at 6500k point.

Hey. I have the aw3225qf but there is something that drives me crazy... There is flickering with G-Sync turned on. It's mainly in situations with gray on the screen like in dark situations which are not 100% black or a little bit lighter. It does happen in loadingscreens too. Is that a common issue for that monitor? Is it a common issue for OLED monitors? I tried it without G-Sync and everything worked perfectly fine. But without G-Sync the games doesn't feel as smooth as with it and have screen-tearing. Could anyone tell me if that is normal and if other OLED monitors (like the Asus pg32ucdm) doesn't have this issue? It's really really sad that this has VRR flickering because if it wouldn't have it, it would be a perfect monitor. I'm thinking about returning it because that isn't acceptable for 1000 bucks to be honest. (Latest Firmware is installed) Would be really nice if anyone can help!

I'm going to replace the Gigabyte because the time I spend on the 32" is prolly 3-4x more and why not get the same level of amazingness for that monitor (QD-OLED goodness (real HDR), Glossy screen, 240Hz vs. 144 Hz., etc.). @TMar1961 For Cyberpunk in 4K, you may need to lower your graphics quality settings and enable all DLSS features. Set DLSS 2 to balanced mode. You can play in 4K even with a 4060 Ti (VRAM should be sufficient). It all depends on the graphics quality you are willing to sacrifice. With high-quality graphics, a 4070 Ti will struggle with titles like Cyberpunk. For games like CS: GO or something similar, you will get above 200 fps. Ultimately, it depends on the games you play as well. In my opinion, a 4070 Ti should not be paired with 4K. Also, this is a great era to play games in 1440p with ultra settings.
