IDK about the rest of ya, but after watching this video, I'm legit considering just saving up for this *exact* TV stand. Sure, it's pricier than I'd like, but after seeing just how handsome it is, build materials used, ease of use features, and functional slats on the facade...this just checks all the boxes. I see this thing as a life-long investment, personally. One and done.

Ross Huey I could buy one if I wanted too, but I just don’t see any reason to spend that much on a TV stand. The touted features to me are it worth much. And you can get stands just as attractive for much less. Now if you’ve got a very nice audio system that you want hidden it would be nice. Still very overpriced though for what’s no doubt a Chinese made piece of furniture. $800-1k is where is should be priced. But there are always people that have more money than sense.

Wayyyyyyyyy over priced for us regular consumers ! I’ve see plenty of SOLID WOOD stands at the $600 - $1,000 price point, heck with the price of this stand it would cost more than the Sony X950G I’m considering.

Gorgeous cabinet, great design, and quality materials. With a price to match, but if you want quality, you have to pay for quality. Wish I'd seen this two weeks ago, I'd have bought it immediately! Hopefully the console I did buy will work well enough for me. (If you don't care about fine solid wood furniture, by all means, head straight to IKEA, and spend your money on something else. Y'all complaining about the cost forget... it's a different world for rich folk. 3K for a solid piece of furniture for high end gear ain't squat. My only complaint with this video is he should have led with.. "looking for an ultra high end stand? I got you covered." or used it in the title. Is working type (and arguably the ones watching this video) would rarely be able to spend the $$$ on an item like this, especially when similar (albeit of lesser quality) ones could be had much cheaper. At almost a million subs... The days of this guy shopping IKEA are LONG GONE... so I don't blame him. Good on ya brother!

Elliott Waddick problem is most of its made in China, or some third world country, by people getting $1/hour if their lucky. And it doesn’t take some very high tech factory to produce it, or well paid engineers to design it. Unlike say a high end TV, or even a nice laptop, that requires requires research, design, high tech manufacturing, and after sale tech support. Yet a regular wood and metal piece of furniture coats just as much? Right. They have some absurdly high mark up is what’s going on.

And worth every penny. Well made solid wood furniture is expensive. Maybe that's not what you want to spend your money on. Fair enough. Hi, We certainly understand your trepidation - it can be hard to assume that any speaker placed behind closed doors will sound the same - however, they were specifically designed and tested for use with a soundbar or center channel speaker. The louvered hardwood doors, when closed, allow for sound and remote signal pass-through. The only frequency that can be affected are the highs (tweeter), and we recommend either (1) not placing the tweeter speaker directly behind where the two front doors meet (more wood/obstruction), (2) increasing the level of your highs slightly to compensate if you feel as though your highs are being muted at all, or (3) placing the soundbar on top of the cabinet if you prefer that it not be enclosed at all. If you're interested in our approach to speaker/remote friendly door design, you can learn more here: www.bdiusa.com/stories/design-behind-hidden-sound-bdi-tv-cabinets Thanks!

Ross Huey confining speakers to a small space doesn’t give them optimal sound. It’s just a fact. Sure it might sound ok but it’s not doing the speaker any justice hiding behind a door or in a small space. I’d love to see the graphs of a 20-20k sweep both in the cabinet and outside the cabinet. No way they are the same.
