Digitech SDRUM + JamMan Express - My thoughts on this dynamic duo

6:23 I would have to disagree with this only part in the video. You can sync the SDRUM up to a midi controller that is synced to your DAW and control the DAW BPM with the SDRUM. I use mine to record a drumbeat into ESPECIALLY when I'm not quite sure of the time signature of a riff idea that is in my head. SUPER HELPFUL! THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO!

Wow, that is super helpful. If I'm reading you correctly, that means the DAW would then tell you what BPM you're at, just like it always would, even though the SDRUM is "in charge". Does it step in increments of one BPM, half, tenths, etc.?

It's in increments of 1 but it's tough to get an exact rounded number but it will tell you what BPM it is at. It does in ABLETON and REAPER idk about any other DAWs

Yo z! I know you said you’re not much into pedals, and I really only have the bassics (haha) but I was looking into the Darkglass Alpha Omicron distortion pedal and it sounds killer but it’s pretty pricey. I found a clone by demonfx and it arrived today and it sounds great! Just wanted to let you know. It’s about a 4th of the price as its originator. 2 types of distortion which you can blend, a level knob for the pedal volume, a blend for dry and wet as well as a bass boost and mid/treble boost!

@@Metalgopher A blend for the dry?! That's KEY. Sounds like you got a winner. I'm currently trying out a 2015 EBS Billy Sheehan drive pedal. I'm looking for something that will always be on, and not lose any low end.

I’ve had the boss bass distortion for many years and I’ve never been happy with it, then I found this clone and got super excited to not pay $250 lol. If I left one of my goofy emails here quickly, could you send me an email? I’d like to talk more on bass and stuff but not through KZbin lol
