Mine was 1.25 turns from factory. Adjusted it to 2.5 as you said and it has tamed it up and increased the consistency. Thank you for the videos and keep up the good work.

Thanks so much man! All of this really tightened up my rifle, for free! I couldn't believe how loose the rail mount and barrel screws were! The weedeater string trick blew my mind how effective it was.

Awesome. I also have new aftermarket barrel band I installed that helped even more, then when I sold my umarex I kept it, if you interested I can sell that to you, it helps to support barrel even more,

FYI from the factory, my hammer screw (purchased in early October, 2024) was 1.75 turns from fully tightened. @SuperPete In this video, at 1:50 you mention Umerex indicates this should be 1.5 turns out, but then at 3:28 you mention 2.5 was where you found the most accuracy. I just wanted to make sure one of these mentions wasn't a mistake... would you recommend starting at 1.5 or 2.5 turns out? Thanks!

1.5 turns out from all the way in is how it comes stock 2.5 works for him. I would suggest starting at 1.5. Turns out and experimenting.

Do you happen to have manual on how to rebuild these guns iv got one that is leaking from the fill port and I can’t seem to figure out if it’s missing a o ring or what is going on

I have the avenger with similar side pull lever. But not it is getting loose. Flops around and wobblys around. Do you know how to fix this?

One question I got the umsrex origin and I didn’t do anything with it and started shooting it out the box maybe like a month or two later it started to release more pressure towards the end so I would be like at 2 and after two shots it would already be out of air and it wouldn’t do that when I first got it you think that’s fixable? Or is that how’s it’s supposed to be once you use for quite a bit

I use a hand pump too so I’m not sure if the hand pump is the problem which I don’t think it is

It could be the hammer screw because back then It would be on two and I could still use a whole mag now when it’s on 2 I’ll take one shot then the next shot to empty out then pressure and id have to go fill her back up

@@texz8004 so your issue is same problem I had with my first gun 3 weeks after I got it and I heard same issue with other people, EPT system, compressed air gets behind it and it creates more pressure on the back end. You have to contact umarex, they sent me free shipping label, I shipped it to them and week and half later brand new gun arrived on my door steps, keep your magazines :)

My origin only gets like 20 shots per fill on medium power, in 22

I have the 22 and it keeps leaking after about a week.

Twist the hose until it doesn’t leak. Could be how your inserting the hose from the pump into the port.

@nickyhustle I was the hand pump that came with it. I purchased a cheap electric pump on eBay and it fills fine, but now it leaks out after a month from sitting.

You guys want a good air rifle for the price. Get the Umarex Origin in .22 cal… best air rifle I’ve ever had in my opinion.

You're welcome to see what that gets you at walmart,.....or anywhere else in PCP with a pump territory.
