Someone sued Dylan over this song and even Blowin’ in the wind early on was regarded as a song stolen from a high school student. As if, Dylan’s creative genius far surpasses such nonsense. There was even a story about Puff the Magic dragon being unknowingly written on a type writer at a party Dylan attended. Who knows, I don’t disbelieve Dylan could have written it, but certainly his originals have no foundation of not being an original Dylan composition.

Olga Tee...good philosophy...Takes a lot of practise and much Discipline to achieve that goal. Americans have trouble with that. Me too. !*

Michael Celani Open yr eyes guy! Point is there’s no Discipline needed.. Nothing to do with specific Americans.. People think too much.. Just live.. jump in the middle of it.. Turn off yr thinking head.. Thinking gets in the way! Open up to yr one and only life... yep💫💥🌞🌹👌❣️Forget the rest👌

Winston really does a great job drumming on this, and it's even more fun to watch him on that tiny drum kit. Great song, well played.

You're not alone. I'm in my 70's and I started listening to Bobby as a teen. About 1966. I never stopped listening. I think he began publically singing in about then. Maybe it was a bit earlier. But around that time.

Isn't Dignity an amazing song. Bobby's verbage is the very best. He knows what to say, and how to marry the words so they can be put to music and sang by him. Such talent he has to create such beauty.

For me, this song, these lyrics, are truly the pinnacle of Mr Dylan's work. There are recordings of the band practising before this performance, when the band was more explosive, and the song was played with more energy. If Mr Dylan had only written this song, he would have been one of the greatest for that alone. Thank you for this, Sir.
