Cool down the season hasn’t started yet and his deep ball is very weak.
@justinklinck6575 Жыл бұрын
He has such a beautiful passing motion. He puts a perfect spin on the ball and throws with plenty of power behind it just about every time. If OU had an all 5 star receiver corps, he'd be deadly. One of the best lefties I've seen.
@tysonhudson648410 ай бұрын
This was the best receiver core OU has ever had. I mean that. DG’s problem is that his accuracy comes and goes. Has very good deep accuracy, but his short to medium passes are all over the place. Throws behind receivers a lot. Struggles hitting receivers in stride.
@justinklinck657510 ай бұрын
@tysonhudson6484 this is not OU's best reciever corps. Not even close. 2017 and 2018 seasons had WAAAY better recievers. Hollywood brown, CeeDee Lamb, and more.
@justinklinck657510 ай бұрын
@tysonhudson6484 Anderson and Farooq drop passes more than they should. They seem to have trouble fighting for the ball when they are in coverage too. Leaving the ball broken up or intercepted.

Hell of a year for DG. So many memorable moments. 10 wins for the regular season, undefeated at home, and winning Red River is always a big deal. I was in Memorial Stadium for the WVU and TCU games, this offense was so fun to watch in person.

I wouldnt say its a skill thing, I’d say its him putting touch to hit with accuracy, anyone can just fling a ball 60-70 yards, but hitting a target is bit different

@@PR1M3TlM3 he has to over throw, not under. He is under throwing here and in NFL they faster. So he needs a bigger arm or receivers need to break earlier for him.

@@rrhull21 nawh in the NFL you’d rather under throw then over throw, Underthrows get PI’s drawn, Overthrowing receivers really don’t do anything but force incompletions, The best deep ball throwers in the NFL aren’t even big arm guys, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Joe Montana is the NFL’s best deep throwers statistically, and all had weak arms, But what they all had was accuracy on deep balls, and it also helped they had Randy Moss, Harrison/Wayne, and Jerry Rice

Definitely looks like a better draft prospect than folks are giving him credit for. Hopefully a good season at Oregon will round him out for a first or second round draft position.

Looks good for college football. sure about pro potential. I noticed he under throws the deep ball. Need to watch a couple of entire games to get a better feel. Doesn't look like he is better then Bo.

Coming from an Oklahoma fan, I think you’re right. He reminds of a Kyler Murray if you took away a bit of speed, arm strength, and accuracy. Solid college qb but doesn’t have the extreme athleticism to make up for size like Kyler does. You’ll be frustrated at bad balls every now and then, but he also looks elite at times.

Being a Tua fan… all I heard in the league was “omg nice catch by the receiver, but that ball was underthrown.” I watch these highlights, I’m like “damn this kid got an arm, but a lot of those passes were “underthrown”. I wonder if the NFL is gonna say that Dillon has weak arm strength.” Shit is crazy how the media can tear a player up before their career even gets a chance to start lol just watch what I’m telling you guys
