This song is in French (he can sing in 12 different languages) and is from a French rock opera from 1978. It's one of the hardest French songs to sing and I believe he's done it better than anyone else. He has SO much music out there that it's hard to choose. That particular performance is from 2018. One of his very newest (in English) is "Stranger". It's a great example of what he can do with his vocals. He's truly amazing!

Has no particular genre as he can sing anything and pleases himself as to what he will surprise us with next. He was 24 when he did that rendition. He's now 27, 6'3" and the vocal god of music. He's now a global superstar with millions of fans all around the world. He's performed solo concerts across the world including London and New York and his Arnau tour is due to recommence in Dusseldorf, Prague and Minsk in April of next year after being suspended due to Covid. Ah, Dimash! From Kazakhstan, age 27, stands 6'3"tall, adored son of opera singers, born with perfect pitch and a passion for singing, even in infancy. Music Academy beginning at age 5. He has trained for 3 hours a day ever since that age. He also is one of the kindest, most loving and decent people imaginable, devoted to his parents and brother and sister, generous in helping others. This performance of SOS was in a competition in China, which was simultaneously broadcast on Chinese State TV. (over 2 billion subscribers.) That night, he went to bed a singer. When he got up the next morning and went down to the hotel dining room for coffee, he found two guards beside him, informing him that he no longer would be going out for solitary strolls. He had become very famous--overnight! His first music album went to double platinum in 34 SECONDS! He works hard and never complains. Dimash Qudaibergen, (Coo Die Berg In) is from Kazakhstan. Russia gave Kazakhstan *Central Asia) their independence in 1991 and Dimash was born in 1994. He is fluent in both Kazak and Russian. He is currently learning English.He is highly patriotic to his nation. He and most Kazak's are Eurasian. He is 6'3" tall and very athletic. He began his classical/operatic training at age five. He has perfect pitch and has been playing instruments since he was a wee tot. He is considered the greatest singer in the world and you would not believe how much he has improved since this was recorded. He has a 7 octave plus 2 tones range. A really good singer generally has a 3 to 4 octave range. He continues to broaden his range. He plays soccer, tennis, and ardent swimmer, horseback riding, and bikes. He and his people are Muslim. They are a very kind, peaceful people and refuse to say anything bad about others. Both of his parents are singers, and his mother is/was an opera singer. both of his parents retired to be his managers and public relations staff. In this video, he is singing in French. Dimash has so many songs on his channel, even his concerts, I am going to suggest that you watch "Love is like a Dream" , and after that watch " Be with Me" the Music Video NOT live version!!!...You can watch that later to see that whether it is a live performance or an MV he sounds the same. Auto tune left the building with a pink slip in his pocket. Something that most young people have a really hard time with. Now except for more Operatic performances you will have a good taste of Dimash's versatility, but you will have yet to meet the humble, generous young man that has graced this planet in a long time. He put the word "Gentleman " back in the dictionary.

I will subscribe to watch your journey with Dimash. I see a lot of background about Dimash in the comments so I will give you some suggestions for songs. you can start with the Singer performances in 2017 when he was 22 ( SOS, Adagio, Confessa + Diva Dance, Show Must Go On etc) . or if you want a few current ones, Stranger, Fly Away, Ave Maria ( version by Igor Krutoy), and for Kazakh folk songs, try Samaultau, the Tokyo Jazz Festival version. Adai + Daididau ( the Bastau version). There are plenty more, probably over 160. You can't go wrong. Songs that are upbeat...Screaming Idol Hits, Kieli Meken, Be With Me, Queen Medley with the Super Vocal Boys. stunners..Daybreak ( Bastau 2017 version) please get the background for this song to make it make sense. Drunken Concubine + Diva Dance.. so so many. Best singer in the World. And a truly humble, genuine person. His fans he calls Dears, and all you have to do is ask they will be happy to supply information for you! You woud be truly missing out if you don't continue to watch more Dimash . Dimash Kudaibergen, is a Kazakh singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He is university trained in classical as well as contemporary music, and is known for his exceptionally wide vocal range. He has performed songs in twelve languages. Many consider Dimash the greatest vocalist of our time and I am in agreement with that statement. He is amazingly talented. Welcome to Dimash's Enless Dimensions World. This beautiful song: "SOS d'un terrien en détresse" was written almost 20 years before Dimash Qudaibergen was born, but he definitely made it his forever, when Luc Plamondon and Michel Berger composed it as an idea, they didn't imagine who was going to be his definitive owner. I also enjoy his other versions of this song that are always in a unique and masterful way. This performance is only the tip of the iceberg. For those who have just started this long journey to the magical world that opens with the celestial sound which comes from Dimash's throat, it will be a before and an after in their lives, but it will be for the better. This young Kazakh artist has already been recognized as the World's Greatest Voice and although some are reluctant to acknowledge him, they will soon accept his mistake. Some call him an alien, angel, unicorn, the fifth element, and in many other ways, but all of those adjectives fall short. They also call him: The Golden Eagle of Kazakhstan. In my humble understanding, he is "just" God's favorite musical instrument. Thanks to an extraordinary innate talent, a correct and careful musical education and also with a lot of work, effort and perseverance, he has been able to sing like no one before and perhaps after. He is also a very educated, kind, respectful, humble young man with a great culture.

To call him Dimash, is just enough. That's how we all call him. "Dears" is how he named his fans. So, if you aren't dear yet, I bet, in next few reactions you'll be. 😉 And just a suggestion... Don't try to fit him in any genre. He sings any style of music and he loves to combine all the genres in his music. He DIMASHIFIED all the songs and as a result, they become the most beautiful thing you ever heard. You won't regret if you continue with his mind boggling music. He did a lot of covers to all vocal kings we know and he just kill them. Don't get me wrong. He adore MJ and Freddie Mercury. He love MJ and he is his pop idol. But soon you will realise that Dimash is on top of everything you've heard. He has plenty of his own songs, most of them composed especially for his unique voice, by the russian genius Igor Krutoy. He is a miracullous gift to humanity, not only in his angelic singing voice, but he is a kind, decent, humble, adoring son, adores his fans (who he calls his Dears). He's from Kazakhstan, age 27, started singing almost at birth, with perfect pitch, but also LOVES to sing, to train, to prefect his gift and share it. I've been following, him for over 7 yrs, dismash he has many songs, he has a voice range, from A1 to G#7 plus a D8, the only person in the world to hit D8 for 5 sec, he is also multi instrumental, he calls his fans dear! He entered a chinese singing contest at 18, all the other singers were well known, Dimash was unknown, but won it!! Dimash is our vocal god, he is from Kazakhstan, he sings in 12 languages and plays 6 instruments and is fluent in 4/5 languages , He now has an 8 octave level reach and has perfect pitch and perfect tone and perfect vowels. Be glad you have discovered him. It's one Huge rabbit hole and it makes it very difficult to listen to other so called singers. I say this, because all others sound like they have never had a vocal lesson in their life.

How about playing some blues-please listen to Joe Bonamassa and Beth Hart perform I’d Rather Go Blind. They are separate artists but frequently collaborate. Joe is one of the best guitarists alive today. He opened for B B King when he was 12 years old! Beth sings with passion-I feel every word. Thank you!

Tip of the iceberg with Dimash. You have no idea the ride you are on with Dimash. He is fluent in Kazakh and Russian but also speaks English better every day. He knows some Mandarin but is able to sing in up to 12 languages. He also does different genres including pop, opera, rap etc etc etc. There is no end to this amazing artist. One of his best is Sinful Passion. It is in Russian but has English subs.

You have just witnessed the most talented vocalist known to mankind in my opinion. Just go to his official KZbin channel Dimash Qudaibergen and watch his first performance of this song "SOS" on the Chinese show "Singer" from 2017 where he was a contestant. He was 22 years old then. He is now 27 and has done so many things since. He is a world renowned vocalist. You cannot call Dimash just a singer. You will see. Just watch everything he has done. He also has a lot of pop songs in English such as "Fly Away", "Screaming" and "Be With Me". He is an exceptional talent! Your life will never be the same!

He plays multiple instruments as well as singing in 12 languages and speaking about 4 or 5 now. Both parents are opera singers and his sister is a dancer (a good dancer). Dimash is about 27 now I believe and is 6'3" tall. An extremely humble person at that. Enjoy the ride.
