What would you do when you think no one is watching? What Would You Do? (WWYD?) explores the varying answers with the help of hidden cameras capturing individuals who have been placed within seemingly everyday situation that quickly go awry. The individuals on this hidden camera show are forced to make tough calls when directly faced with situations of racism, violence, hate crimes, and other hot button cultural issues. Catch John Quinones reporting on these individuals as they make split-second decisions to intervene or mind their own business. WWYD? airs Friday nights at 9|8c on ABC.

Should the conversation have been had infront of a child? No. But the point he was making is valid. And was kindly said. He has lived through the tough times that have befallen America in the past and grew up hearing the horrors of the depression from his parents Think about the bigger picture of now, and maybe twenty years from now. Looking at statistics now of homelessness, joblessness and reduced funding of SNAP and welfare. Do you think that USA can handle a steady influx without end? There are over 42 million people in Central America alone, Picture The possibility of even HALF those people, 21 million, moving to USA. Do you think USA can handle them too? What about if it was only a quarter of that, 10.5 million? Do you think welfare, the job situation or any other vital service can handle that? And when the situation is overwhelming because they're coming in too fast, who will you tell they have to go home because you're finally full? How will so many people survive when there are no jobs left, no governmental money to give and the food banks are empty. And if all the decent, hardworking Central American people, are going to USA for a new life, where does that leave the criminal element? Do you think the kingpins are going to be happy in a society of just themselves? No. They want to manipulate the good, decent people, so hellloooo USA, here we come!!

@@carolinebilliot2298 Agreed. If the only way to feel secure about your supposed power is to bully and terrorize a child, this doesn’t make you strong. This merely shows everyone your cowardice nature and exactly how pathetic you are. The only exception to this rule is if said child has clearly established that they can take care of themselves in this situation. Though if a child is talking more sense than the alleged adult, that adult might need to take a long look at themselves and their rhetoric.

“We don’t know their whole story.” Thank you as a daughter of immigrant parents I just want to say that the reason people come here is not because they want to. You think they want to come to a country that speaks a different language and has a completely different culture? No of course not. They come here because their governments don’t care. To the man that said why doesn’t her government do something. Not all countries have good governments. That’s the problem. Blame the government not the people. Sometimes I wish people could see the faces of my parents when they would break down because they didn’t have papers and couldn’t do things other families could with their kids. Trust me when I say these people don’t have a choice. Go to a unknown country with a chance of getting a job that is hard and doesn’t pay well or die in their country along with their kids. I understand how crossing the border illegally is a problem and that bad people cross over too. However, please don’t forget that there are parents who are risking their lives to give their children better ones. My parents worked their whole lives to give me a great life. These people just want the best for their kids trust me. There is bad everywhere and the US is not exception. We have school shootings, murders, and other horrific crimes as well. Remember that for the US to achieve their freedom they stole the freedom from other people. Your people immigrated here and stole land for a better life. When they clearly knew it wasn’t their land and what they were doing was wrong. The actions you criticize are the same actions your people did if not even worse. Your people’s freedom at the cost of Native American’s freedom. Don’t forget our Native American people who’s land was stolen and who’s people were murdered.

it's the same when people complain about immigrants refusing to learn English. Learning a language is hard and these immigrants are usually poor and need to find work. They simply don't have time to focus on learning the language which is why it can take them years to fully grasp English. Yes, as a society we should help citizens in need; have a social security safety net, have affordable healthcare etc. At the same time you really help people by teaching and motivating them to stand on their own: not everybody has good intentions and tries to take advantage of the system. @@bcaye I see where you got it wrong, all Finn meant was: The hostile person proceeded to ask the sponsor if the girl was adopted, even after she denied her to be her daughter, here it is implicated that, even if she WAS adopted, the adopting mother (the sponsor) was seemingly ok with calling her "not her own", get it?

I think it is so sweet and beautiful when you experience the reaction of complete strangers and suddenly hear a story or see something of the character. They are normal people you probably would never have approached, you don't know and you would never have asked them, but that's so precious I love it. Unbelievable!

@@moonie1825 technically she did when she said "There's plenty of *American* children that needs help. Why are you sponsoring *them* ". @@cindypicadomolina7814 That's a terrible and unwittingly racist comment too. What is an American? We are a melting pot of many different races, cultures, creeds and religions. The "script" was more about being here "illegally", not about racism. Most of these comments are insinuating racism into a conversation that wasn't there. And there are plenty of American children of many different races that desperately need help too. We are too focused on race and racism, and not on the individual and their needs.
