#suggestion Medo should play b4 as early as possible and every time it is the best move, as Bone is a 4 letter word starting with b! Also as Medo means “fear” in Portuguese, it should definitely be a strong opponent!

4th move for white B4. Very hard to defend for Black. If black played into it then black may understand the theory of the Evans Gambit. The fans would of loved it. Maybe will see the position again? It would be weird if Ding decline play B4 on the 4th move if the same position was reached.

Your dog bot should only play one piece at a time, but play it at 3000 level. So it's like he's chasing his toy around the room. E.g. if leads with knight, knight moves until Knight is captured or checkmate - that would be cool

Love the Medo bot being created! I agree his playstyle should be erratic. Sometimes he just slept on the couch, so that would make him play like about a 1000 player, sometimes he went crazy on the couch - so he would play like Tal - sacrificing everything and beating you no matter what

My first intimation of what occurred in the game, as I missed watching it earlier. This was a beautiful tactical masterpiece that removed the bishops very early, surprising me. I haven't seen this type of tactic until now. But I noticed by the logjam set on both sides the strategy decided upon, common to both players. This really helped relieve the tension not only between Ding and Gukesh, but with me as well. Agadmator's opening comment about Fischer and Spassky left me in despair, believing the worst for Ding. I can now relax, and hope the two players will be thoroughly prepared for tomorrow's game.

"No one has EVER come back in the classical portion of the finals of a classical WCC if they were the 1st to lose a game and lost as white. Not even Liren last time. Liren won only in the rapid. I guess the guy who kept asking 'Why don't Fabi Nepo Hikaru buy out Liren?' is feeling pretty silly now." So I said on 2024Nov26. I double checked my statistics, and I'm not sure, but if there were black wins then the result of the player who was 1st to win as black (for the classical portion, whether match is drawn and given to champion or go to rapid. And then regardless of rapid result there) is : - won 32/44 = 72.7% - lost 6/44 = 13.6% - drew 6/44 = 13.6% - p1w4Rr-1wK - p1w4Rr-s6 Note : This excludes the 2 cases of 1972 Bobby Fischer & 2006 Vlad Kramnik. At 5:30 Gukesh brings knight to d4. Agreed, don't trade knights, but why not knight to e5 and pick up the pawn? And is rook e8, then knight can go back, or can go to d3 and explore some weakness on Gukesh's Queen side. Looks like you can get 2 pawns over there. Also, the new drum solo and that sardonic cartoon face are both jarring and terrific! thank you !!

Indians tend to have funny names to foreigners. Gukesh sounds really close to "gukash" (гукаш) which means to coo in Bulgarian, so whenever Agad says his name, I say "Gukash. As far as bot suggestions go, I really miss the old Martin that you could just absolutely hammer mercilessly. I want a bot that will never take a piece, that will never see a checkmate coming, that always makes the worst possible move, that lets you move one pawn all the way up and queen and then take all the other pieces and queen all your pawns and then rearrange all your pieces however you want without getting stalemate. It's just really cathartic and therapeutic to do that sometimes.

#suggestion Hey, Agad! Can you please play the intro first and then begin with "Hello, Everyone!" Just felt like it. You may give it a try and then whatever the majority likes you can continue with that. Btw thank you for the coverage❤

Hey, you need to talk about the Vantika situation.

@agadmator - I was hoping you'd review this detail - was a5 a poisoned pawn? The engine recommended to take that pawn with bishop b4. Gukesh did not play it. And Ding eventually killed that option by exchanging bishops.

I m sure Ding had prepared some trap for that line. Gukesh did well to avoid that temptation.

From being favourite, Gukesh has quickly become the underdog. Ding's plan is clear. Put in a goal early, and defend. Gukesh does not have the firepower to dismantle good defense. Alas, he is no Fischer!

4:47 Why didn't Gukesh capture on e3 sir? It would ruin Ding's pawn structure one more time.

that intro would fit a lot better if it was placed before the "hello everyone". it was really awkward when you paused to play it after you started talking

love your channel and watched 90%+ of your vids - A BIT DISAPPOINTED IN THESE WORLD CHAMP VIDS! please explore more lines - like you did for the previous world champ matches. i understand you want to get these out as soon as you can, but these are the highest level matches, and you hardly explore the lines. there is so much interesting stuff going on that you aren't covering (but often do cover).

5:17 The trick, of course, is in what counts as "early". Is it move 10? move 12? move 64? What, no? 64 doesn't count as early? What about 63? or 62. or all the numbers leading up to 62? See, no clear definition.
