Hi Roy yep Rob's fishing boat was absolutely immaculate, the bright work was stunning. Built in 1880 as a fishing boat, with a 3 cyl diesel but space for a centre board though Rob doesn't have one. So sailing into the wind she doesn't point that well....but what a beauty. Thanks for watching, cheers Paul

Just wish I was close enough to sail along with the group “Down Under”. That would be a really cool experience .. Love 💕 the different rock structures n unique beautiful trees 🌲 n climate. Puget Sound has the tidal issues. Most of our wind n wx are from the the South or SW up thru the Sound. Enough said. I need to finish this video now. Cheers 🥂 papa J.

Hi Paul, what a wonderful time away sailing with all those wonderful yachts. I do have a question, how was it sailing with only the mizzen sail when you were running with the wind, to me it’s doesn’t seem right.
@SailingKateLouise
@SailingKateLouise Жыл бұрын
Hi Mark to be honest it was virtually impossible to steer with just the mizzen in such strong winds with no centre board. I can do it when sailing downwind to a mooring in 2-3 knot breezes but yes you are right you do need some headsail. Thanks for watching , cheers Paul
