I love this, he doesnt emphasize that life is specifically good or bad. Just that it's what we have now. He mentions friends and food and heartbreak and everything, just as it is, and ya know what? Yeah. Sometimes life CAN suck. Sometimes we do just wanna quit. It's so easy to quit that it's entirely understandable why quitting is more desirable than dealing with it. But you can't skip to desert. In the end everyone else would be really upset. Some folks who knew you may be jealous. Or they may be upset because the best part of dinner hadnt even come yet. Some people just wont understand, but the point is dinner is something you experience like everyone else. Sometimes dinner isn't all that great. Sometimes it's the best thing you had all day. The point is that it's not over. It's not over.

Im 14 and i tried to eat dessert a few 1 nights ago. I obviously didn't finish my dinner, I barely took a bite. I really love this song I relate to it so much. I like how it doesn't tell us not to die just because, it tells us that dying sounds like the best option but you should always try different options first. Living is an experience you may not get back, I don't know what happens after you die but I don't think you'll have the exact same experience. Things could turn out to be worse. I didn't do it because I wanted to actually die, I did it because I was tired of living my life and I feel like I'm too young to change it. And now I have to go somewhere i don't want to go. But, I hope everyone listening to this song is ok. Remember there's always someone out there who loves you, even if in that moment it seems like everyone is against you, you have many people on your side. Even the people that seem to be completely against you, they may actually be on your side in some ways.
