This has been my number one song since it first came in 1982. I always loved the studio version until i finally gave in after 39 years to watch the Alchemy Live concert versions and have fallen in love with them instead. Telegraph Rd is about the best song in the world for me if not the best.

I was there! I was 18 years old It was amazing, you said that the audience were excited, we were, this was the encore. We did not think they could play "telegraph" live, its to hard It was not too hard, Terry Williams on the drums was the stand out for me, the best drummer you've never heard of

The drummer is Terry Williams and the keyboardist is Alan Clark. Glad you enjoyed this stunning price of brilliance from dire straits they really were at the top of their game here.

The second keyboard player is Tommy Mandel, he's on right of screen with three rows of keys while Alan is left of screen with five rows of keys.
