Still wondering how much Jimmy paid all these KZbin Woodworkers to make this add for him and his knives... don't get me wrong I'd still take the money, just wished there was more transparence on this. It is an add after all, and nobody mentioned it so far.

I love all the great content and the way these guys have banded together to elevate each other. I dont think any one maker among the "Mob" needs help selling his wares, they do just fine as individuals. However, what is remarkable is the model they have grouped into. The efforts of each individual is meant to elevate the popularity and exposure of the whole group. I have found many great makers by references from other great makers. Add to that a "common" project that each maker puts his own spin on, coupled with a coordinated release on the videos. Absolutely Brilliant! Let's go one step further and let the viewers vote on the favorite versions! I will put my vote in now for Neil!

Glass and tile drill bits work great on hardened steel and quite cheap (you know, carbide-spearhead-brazed-to-stem type), but have the tendency to snap at the finishing part of drilling a hole, so caution needed.

Careful Neil! I'd love to continue watching your content, so here's a safety tip. 16:33 Never do anything on a belt sander with the blade facing up. It probably will be fine, but if it's suddenly NOT fine (which let's face it, happens more than we'd all like to admit) the blade will catch the belt, cut it, and you'll either have to dodge really quick or get hurt. Loved the knife, just please be careful! :)
