I have had the privilege of watching him 4 different times. One time in Dallas and three times in Denver. He is one of the most underrated players of all time. It a great experience. I have been a Dirk fan for many years and last season saw him. I paid for seats right behind their bench. It was expensive but seeing my hero so up close and knowing I got to see him in his prime was worth it. You HAVE to see Dirk before he retires. Even if you have to pay the big bucks to, just do it.

He became champion at the right time and right moment when most are already branding the NBA as a league of prima donnas. Dirk is a true superstar. Staying loyal to the team and fans, carrying a team on his back without the help of another super scorer specially a dominant big man, and promoting team chemistry through example and not words. Everyone misses the old guards specially MJ, Magic, and Larry. Dirk made me feel that it was 80s and 90s basketball all over again.

You're freekin Dirk.You're always the most intense determined player to help your team win. Not tho mention, the best player on the court-defense-rebounds-spin step layups, passing the ball to the assisters mostly, barely needs to jump to dunk (but he usually does an unstoppable gentle kiss layup, he hits lots of outer mid-range jumpers using that step fade (which is unstoppable).

Dirk is my favorite player. Not since 2011, but since 2000. For almost everyone he was a loser until May or June 2011, I cannot forget this. Then everyone says he was a champion. Too easy. I always believed that he was the kind of player who can win the title as a protagonist. Every time I see Dirk's higlights in 2011 Finals, I cry. I'm glad that I had the opportunity to see one of the greatest players of the history.

Dirk had a sensational run throughout the playoffs. He was the best player on an NBA championship team and continually carried them with this clutch offensive production. It's so good to see all these veterans finally achieving their lifetime goal. I mean Dirk is fantastic but look at Kidd, Terry, Marion, Peja and so on. After so many years of fighting, dedication and failure they made a final run, and won it all. And how did they do it? Great ball movement? Yes. Dominant bench play? Most certainly. Dirks prolific scoring? Take dat wit chew. But that's not it. More then anything it was about their love for the game and their will never to give up. Go Mavs!

Forgot to mention that Kirk has an impeccable jump-shot.Since he's 7 ft total and mostly adds a small jump, there is practicly none that can challege it.His shot has the highest arch in the NBA and Dirk has an artisic like release with incredible acurracy even from beyond the 3 point line.He makes a high number of his 3 attempts and I feel that his high(er) arch he give the ball the chance to use the whole cylider-other than a regular or line drive type shots.
