Chris Birdsong originally built the Duster, and now he just might have the chance to win it back if he can beat Finnegan around a muddy off-road course.

i learned manual thanks to a mechanic i worked under during a high school co-op program. He taught me on his brand new 2004 WRX. I had Just finished downloading and watching Petter Solberg win the 2003 WRC championship. So, I now have two WRX STi's and one Corolla. All manual.

I get the impression that in the US manuals are not as common as the automatic cars. In my country it's the complete opposite, so much so that I have never driven an automatic and only know a couple of people who own them.. the few here are mostly driven by the elderly or disabled people and some women. We have separate licences. If you just get the automatic license you can't legally drive a stick. If you have the manual licence you can drive both.

@@davidgalea6113 I'm not American, but yea, it's like that there and here in Canada, too. I've owned over a dozen vehicles over the years and the only three that were automatic were never offered in a manual. I love driving manual.

It's an off road vehicle. Laws regarding this vary based on the land it is used on. City, county, state or federal lands each require different rules in each jurisdiction. Permits or yearly passes may be issued. Nuances in each can very greatly... It is best to be with someone who knows the area of use.... Just an opinion from me to avoid prison.
