SUBARU DRIFT BUILD |4| The diff was too low!!

On this episode of Dirtcheapdaily, A-A-ron done messed up!!!
We got the ford differential mounted in the 2004 Outback, but it's way too low to be drift able. The first dirt-drop would annihilate the 8.8" pumpkin. So, Aaron cuts apart the diff mounts and rebuilds it!

Curious what else you've played around with in the rear end (phrasing lol I know) Have you swapped to the legacy trailing arm brackets to keep your wheel center?

Like your resilience. Can the Outback rear subframe spacers be replaced with those from a Legacy?

Pretty sure legacys don’t have the spacers. That’s one of the main differences between the two

There is a "spacer" that goes in between the body and the subframe but it's about 1/4 inch. At 9:20, imagine just the bottom of that outback spacer, without the cylindrical top part and only the flared bottom part. Recently converted and lifted buddy's legacy to an outback so i'm very familiar with it right now lol
