Honestly we have no idea! We went to a import shop in town looking for intercoolers and the guy grabbed this one from the back. We did not get much for details either, but we made it work!

@@jessefloyd7508 Nope. Caused more problems, these trucks don't need it. We ended up putting a new motor in this Surf and did not reinstall.

Dirt Garage Ah ok. I know they are prone to have the head crack if they get hot so that's why im looking into the intercooler.

@@jessefloyd7508 That's exactly why we did it. But I don't think it made a difference. Still blew a head gasket.

Hey mate, having trouble getting the turbo back in with my one. Any tips on lining everything up, especially the oil feed?

Honestly, this was a while ago, and I don't remember! I do remember struggling too. We just pulled it all apart again to do the head gasket. So I will let you know if what we find out on reassembly.

It honestly is really sweet man. Would love to see those before and after dyno numbers. Also nothing beats the sound of a turbo spool/ turbo blow off valve shuttering. If you're interested I just had a trip to some trails on my bike this past weekend. Hauled em over with my taco. Made a video if you'd like to check it out!

Going to be tackling this job at the weekend. I went for a second hand turbo instead of new. Hopefully it's an improvement on the old one

Overall its a pretty easy job, and we got it all done in one evening. We got a noticeable amount of power gain switching them out! Good luck!!
