As a diehard Jones fan since 2018, I always knew he was a very interesting person and was frustrated that he was introverted and fans were neutral on him and didn't know him. Thanks Dirty Mo for this interview and helping Erik share who he is. He really is an awesome dude, let alone one of the best young drivers to ever come into the sport. If he has the right situation (which he might be in now) he could be a champion and HOF'er there is no doubt in my mind.

At first, I didn't really like Erik, but over the years, he's kinda grown on me. It did piss me off when he was put in the 20 and Kenseth was more or less put out to pasture, but when he got dumped like he did, I felt for him. Joining the 43 was a good move for him though, and the combo of Erik and Petty-GMS really seems to be gelling now
