Peace and Shalom Robert, I just took my family to the NO Mass today here in Canada Can you believe that the priest sat down before the distribution of Holy Communion leaving it to the “Eucharist ministers” to distribute Our Lord?! We sat and watched as one by one the congregation -like good little sheeple -went up for communion to receive Our Lord at the dirty UNCONSECRATED HANDS of the masked ministers! What has happened to us?! We have tried to witness in a reverent way in Our Novus Ordo parish, but as you are well aware, the more you embrace the traditions of our faith, the more you feel uneasy about the scruples in the modern church. Off to the SSPX we go!

Thank you for being so strong in what you are preaching with passion about the Eucharist - the church needs to hear what you are saying - I discovered the TLM during covid went to Diocesan TLM mass and to SSPX mass and to SSPX Resistance TLM when the time and place was necessary fir me to do so ... there is NO health danger in receiving on the tongue 🙏 and yes the statistics demonstrate this but are ignored. I go to No and TLM .. I attend Mass in two dioceses and one of those now again allows Communion on the tongue, which is the way I have always received pre covid...I assumed, following Mass in this diocese, (my nearest city) that my local parish , different diocese would also follow suit..not so, I was refused...and told "put out your hand"... not since my primary school days have I heard that particular phrase !!..The Polish Mass is beautiful , alter incensed, beautiful singing, priests and adult male servers with paten at Communion where everyone kneels or genuflects before Our Lord. I attend the two hearts devotion on the first Friday into Saturday in the 'foreign diocese'.we kneel before the Lord and the Eucharist is given on the tongue and an alter server uses the paten...so much more reverend and the sacredness of that part of the Mass is palpable. I told my local priest that I doubt very much that Jesus would allow anyone get covid from receiving Holy Communion...he wasn't remotely interested...still wears a visor and sanitises throughout...then again the creed is never prayed on Sunday or any of the weekdays he 'might' offer Mass. The homily is two, or maybe three lines of the Gospel woven into a prayer of the faithful.We cannot criticise our priests and bishops..that's for God to deal with.We must pray for them. The wrongdoings in the Church have shaken their faith too but Jesus and Mary will prevail..her Immaculate Heart will triumph and Jesus will reign..Our battle is against Satan not human powers...pray..pray..pray..

I cannot eat gluten it makes me severely ill but I receive the blessed sacrament at every mass and I never get sick from receiving it. The Blessed Sacrament will never make you sick. There’s no need for precautions to protect us. God loves us and is so happy to give us his body, blood. Soul and divinity. God bless you.

Amen --- I have never gotten sick. I have even had wine (the transubstantiated blood of my Lord), sipped after another parishioner did (who came to Mass with pneumonia). I never got so much as a sniffle. When God miraculously changes bread & wine to the sublime on earth, how can we be afraid or worried?

I remember when they first allowed communion on the hand. I was shocked as i could not understand why we would want to hold such a sacred host that is meant for consecrated hands only, I would/could never disrespect Christ like that. I have never received on the hand and will not. I love Christ too much to disrespect him. As our Lord said to one of the mystics, 'They walk on me underfoot'. The Crumbs from the host that is handed to the receiver fall to the ground and what people do not understand that even those crumbs are the full Body of Christ, yet there is no reverence shown for his body that falls to the ground.

You know, I had a discussion with my Dad when a Priest tried to deny me Holy Communion while kneeling and on the tongue. Back when I attended N.O. He told me from now on to go in the line in front of him, and if the Priest ever denies me, Dad would receive in the hand and split the Host in half and give to me himself. (I have a good Catholic Dad and a very sympathetic Protestant Mom.) I think people who can should be willing to do that for those with handicaps too. That's very unfortunate and shameful on the part of the Priest if the woman is Catholic and not publicly recognized as presently living a life of mortal sin.

If we really believed would only receive on the tongue. There is a reason the Church universally abolished communion in the hand in the 9th century. Luther was the first to bring it back with the intention to deny transubstantiation and the Mass as a sacrifice.

Robert every Sunday husbend older son and i go to church at nine o clock in the morning. Last year we wasn’t allowed to church at my perish as we wasn’t jabbed. Than we permitted to Church. I usually go to communion” every Sunday. That sunday i went for my holy bred I half kneel befor priest and he refused me my holy bred on my tangue i said to him I’m not worthy to take living God into my dirty hands. I am a convert to Catholicism. I was brought up as a Hindu. I too was receiving Holy Communion in the hand and standing because this was what my parish priest taught me so I didn’t know other wise. It was when I saw a video on Garabandal an old black and white video and saw How Concheta received Holy Communion from the Archangel St. Michael outside of her house. Full of reverence: on her knees and on her tongue that made me decide to follow her ways. I have Always received Our Lord on my knees since then. At first I was shy and anxious but I pray to our Blessed Mother for the grace to receive Her beloved Son on my knees and I got this grace. Now I am not anxious about other people watching me. I am bolder and want to give a good example. I wish every Catholics would receive the Eucharistic Jesus Christ on the tongue and on the knees unless they are disabled. Please bring back the railing like in the old days.

Totally right. I said that at the beginning of restrictions in the churches when I heard about distance and limits, Communion on hand only, no signing, masks and all other evils ideas. At the parish council meeting I said: do they (bishops) still believe in God? If they tell us to do this things I think they are people without faith, they lost their faith. If you come to church for Mass you must feel safe. Do we come to our God's house or just to see other people? Church is not meeting point. I have vasiliated on going to communion on the tongue or in the hand. It had been so hard to figure out what is right. I have taught children for First Communion and told them to receive on the tongue,but other teacher argued with me, against it, in front of children. They don't want me teaching the communicants. I was coming home last weekend from mass at Holy Trinity Parish and was very perplexed ,as a friend of mine was giving out communion and,I know she is divorced. I went to communion on tongue from her but i it was awkward. Only go there for late evening mass on Suday when I don't get up on time in early morning) On the way home I begged the Lord tell what is all this confusion clear it up please. It was,6,:30 ,SUNDAY evening and a huge Blood Moon was over the horizon and it came closer and closer to m y windshield getting bigger and bigger.it was a magnificant sign.representing the Eucharist. I told the priest the next week ,women should not give out communion as they do not have anointed hands. At one Medjugorje Conference I went to in Chicago a woman who had been cured of cancer in Medjugorje,said that The Blessed Mother said we get more graces When we receive Communion on the tongue . She wouldn't go against what the Church allows.i don't know where that woman got that info ,if it is in one of Mary's messages,maybe. Another interesting point my son was in a wheelchair for 31 years,he received communion in the hand and many times his hands were filthy from rolling his wheelchair,the tires were dirty. Sometimes he wore gloves,but the idea that it is more sanitary to receive in the hand is ludicrous. I go to the Dominican church in town because they have Novus Ordo mass ,but everyone goes to communion at the communion rail some in the hand and some on the tongue ,at least least we are all kneeling and only priest and deacon give out communion. I believe Blessed Catherine Emmerich says the Dominicans will hold on the true faith in end times.

Thanks for posting, when I came back to the Catholic Church, and received after many years of abstinence Holy Communion kneeling, and on the tongue in 2016, it felt like my first "Holy" Communion with Christ. To me too since then I didn't want to receive Christ differently. I had supportive priests during the pandemic in the Novus Ordo mass being all alone, and still am in my way of receiving Christ. Wish everybody would understand, and love receiving Christ this way.

It affects the hearts of the Laity to see Priests masking and using sanitising cream, what it says is that this Priest has a doubting heart, that the Universal Physician has no power. Stop doing this in the Sanctuary, that holy place,. We as laity watching this feels scandalised and an insult to Our Lord and his Holy Mother. The bishops of the world were so enthused by a false understanding of the term ‘Ecumenism’ following Vatican II, they dashed to put as much of the Traditional Church behind them as possible in an effort to impress our Protestant brothers and sisters and bring about a united Christianity. The Anglicans/Protestants did nothing other than to delve into the realms of liberalism, and the NO are continuing to follow them slavishly even to this day. I find now that I can’t even attend a NO Mass as they have become so Protestantised. The True Presence may still be in these Masses, but I fear the Holy Spirit can seldom work in the congregation. If faith is absent, then a downward spiral will lead to total loss if faith - which is what has been slowly happening for 40 years now. I say forty years because the pre Vatican clergy maintained their reverence for the Mass into the NO and Communion on the tongue was still practiced by the majority. Yes to the old Liturgical Calendar and yes to a resurgence of receiving on the tongue. Yes also to the priest facing the alter. I only attend Latin Mass (3 years now), but would still attend a reverend NO Mass when I can find one. The NO Mass in the London Oratory is a rewarding experience - one I would avail of more regularly if the opportunity arose, but I live in Manchester. I am blessed to have an FSSP church near me in Warrington which I am able to attend daily, but it involves a one hour round trip - it’s worth it! God bless

I'm starting to come to the conclusion that what might be even more important is the use of a patent under each communicant. The sacrilege of particles of our Lord's body blood soul Divinity falling on the floor and people stepping on him I think are even worse than receiving in the hand. I'm not saying that I'm okay with receiving in the hand because I definitely am not. But I just think that maybe this is even worse to not use a patent. But I guess even with a patent if you receive in the hand you're still likely to leave particles of our Lord on the floor. So even then can anyone attending a new order Mass receive communion next to other people who are receiving on the hand and leaving particles of our Lord on the floor to which then you will step on. Please do a video on that.

In some Churches I attend one can receive the Eucharist on the tongue. However, in my own I can’t. I queried my priest regarding same and he replied that the Bishops have not yet authorised receiving on the tongue since covid. Obviously he is being obedient to the Bishop. It’s time we, the laity, called out our Bishops and tell them to lift the prohibition of receiving on the tongue. I despair sometimes at what is going on in our Church. The laity needs to move. Enough is enough.

I went away from the Church and joined the evangelicals. I became very knowledgeable in scripture . The scriptures led me back to the Eucharist . But the clergy wound me when the try to justify abortion or one priest said which is more important the Eucharist or Covid . I was begging him for the Eucharist during lock down.

Tell me robert, now ive seen these so called Eucharistic ministers giving out communion and i guess was afraid to ask the sacred pastors then, but I was in mass a couple weeks ago and was watching to deacons give out communion to the parish, and i was compelled to ask the CCD teacher sitting beside me, i asked her, when growing up i was taught no one who didn't have consecrated hands were never to touch the communion host, so why now do deacons and people who don't have consecrated hands being allowed to give it out, and she said they changed it now I said who changed that Vatican two, and I said I don't think they should be touching the host, was I wrong in asking this? I'm afraid I made some of them angry about that question I sensed last Sunday, its a relatively small parish, the priest should be able to give communion out to the communicants it seems to me

I attended an Eastern Rite Catholic Mass, DECADES before the pandemic and the Eucharist (in the form of squares of bread intinctured in the Blood), this was administered by the use of a long spoon which did not touch the lips or tongue. This form of administration of the Sacrament has absolutely NOTHING to do with the pandemic but is historical usage in Orthodox and Eastern Rite Catholicism and seems to me eminently sensible.

Receiving communion in.the Tonge.. I believe its the mist reverent way to receive holy communion. I only receive communion on the Tonge. Jesus is truly present and is the body and blood of Christ.

I’m at home with covid at the moment so watched Knock at twelve today on KZbin. I noticed the priest when giving holy communion instructions, said communion will be distributed on the hand. I guess to cover themselves because they know people will complain.

These priests fear disobeying their bishops. Priests in my rural locality were not performing baptisms either during Covid either for the same reason. You had to perm the rite at home yourself. 🙏

There is a story of a woman that was a Eucharistic Minister. When she died, they briefly reopened her casket for viewing to a family late arrival. When they reopened her casket, they discovered her hands had quickly turned black, when just briefly prior to closing her casket her hands were normal. They discovered the woman had been a lay Eucharistic Minister in her life, and was a demonstration from God she wasn't qualifed to administer the Eucharist because only consecrated hands-like that of a priest, are fit before God, to administer and touch the Holy Eucharist. What that means; before God, even if the Church permits lay people to administer the Holy Eucharist, a profonation against God's holiness is being committed, every time unconsecrated hands administer the Holy Eucharist-including all lay people who receive the Holy Eucharist on the hands-with rare exceptions.

Why don't you speak the truth and tell the people that according to Church teaching, an indult to receive is to be the exception rather than the rule, and it is ONLY LEGITIMATELY GRANTED when the Bishop ensures that all the criteria for doing so are fulfilled, two of which are; the Bishop must ensure that no fragments are lost AND that those faithful whose rights in accordance with Church teaching to continue to receive on the hand while kneeling are not denied them. Vatican Two states specifically that Communion rail be maintained to facilitate those who choose to receive on the tongue while kneeling, which is their right, and cannot be denied them under any circumstances.

Not even The Pope can refuse Communion on the tongue if requested by the faithful in a state of grace. In fact it is the prefaired way still by Cannon law and also has to be allowed even by the Indult of Pope Paul 6th. The problem is that like a lot of other church dogma that is not thought in the schools and churches today, nobody explains what is church law or explains the details of the Indult with regard to it's contents and when it is invalid. I have read the Indult and the sub sections attached and in my view it is almost impossible to meet the conditions set out without some sort of Desecration or Sacralidge being committed. The Indult was only meant for extreme circumstances, while receiving on the tongue at the alter was intended and still is the norm. Not the other way around. Having read the Indult I now only receive kneeling and on the tongue, which for me means attending the TLM mass as the Novus Ordo mass in most cases only allows reception in the hand!

The priest brings communion to the congregation where they are seated in Knock Shrine - they don't leave their seats. This woman didn't need to stand to receive communion, which is why I doubt this story.

For the dear lady who was not able to receive communion I wish to tell her that Jesus told us we will suffer for His sake. Genevieve, you may not need to move. Consider that while frequent communion is a good thing, one is only obligated to receive once a year. It’s not ideal but that is an option. Remember things can change very quickly in one year. I wouldn’t necessarily move unless I was not tied down with other commitments like a job, mortgage etc. But yes, if you’re not tied down, do look. If I were not tied down, I would look to areas where SSPX are, because in my opinion, they are the least likely to be corrupted by future events. Your assessment of the situation may differ, of course.

As we say in french "we are discussing of the sex of the Angel's: Male or female", and in the mean time there plenty of homeless people in the streets of our towns, people are killing there narrow in Europ, others could not anymore pay electricity and gaz, etc.... And you are discussing, on the tong or in the hand God gives us everything to be happy on earth and at the beginning everything was free. You had just to pick it up....but a minority of men take control of all these gifts from God to the detriment of the majority. Robert Our Lord doesn't care. He wants His access to His sheep. Pius X are not in union with the bishop. Their marriages and annullments are invalid. If the priest doesn't want to give Holy Communion then that's too bad, but it's his call

Read the article. The couple go to the bishop and ask permission for a priest in union with the bishop to.reform the marriage and the SSPX priest can then perform a nuptial mass.

Francis also said the bishop is free to validate SSPX nuptials if he has no priests of his own. All priests and all Catholics have to Be in union with the local bishop Robert, and that's another reason ....

...Why I don't attend Medjugorje. The seers were interviewed in their local dialect by their local bishop who declared the visions not worthy of veneration or belief. Never in the history of legit apparitions has BVM disobeyed or dismissed or insulted the local bishop.

Just be careful Robert. Obedience is everything, consolations are not for this world. At John of the Cross told BVM not to visit because he didn't want to be inadvertently praying to a devil, and that was ST JOHN OF THE CROSS
