@@milicadjordjevic4498 I agree. There were even some news reporters that were correlating Gabby's ethnicity with the attention her case received. Its not uncommon at all, domestic disputes are the highest cause of homicide!Lol ... none of you even knew this ?! The gabby petitio thing was suss in the way it covered up the China war on us all ( the world , happening now and for a long time building up.. communist Mao Zedong plan was always to be fully realised )to cover up Biden's incompetence. I'm an Australian and I see how pathetic the USA is now after the fake election results... And its another distraction for that....... It shouldn't be that hard to figure out if you have a brain.. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🙄🙄💢💢🙄😑😑😑😑.

@@markharrisllb you have no idea what his family did or didn't contribute. Leave Brian's family alone.... a domestic murder is not uncommon ffs. And family trying to avoid getting involved is also, not uncommon. None of us have any idea what trauma they too, are going through. So lay the hell off. Brian wasn't Mao Zedong for God's sake... ( who China still worship as a country btw). There's bigger issues than people's private lives and domestic murders are the least shocking if anything.. still horrible and I couldn't and wouldn't do it.. but its chilling enough for me to watch the stories lol.. same as you ! But its not like they ran concentration camps like China does. So c'mon , get some damn perspective .... And enough about the gabby Brian stuff , and their dysfunctional relationship . Both were pretty narcissistic people , hence why it blew up instead of one persln walkong away (which is how abuse normally is disappated ;and I would know, being an actual victim myself and of a few people, and I never had a supportive family ... ) It was never interesting or unusual to begin with ! And real victims don't live on KZbin 🙄🙄🙄🤦‍♀️😑nor have that kind of narcisstic personality as gabby did, but i need to get back to work before I try to educate you on common sense, let alone on basic human behaviour and psychology.

There is something about dismembering a person's body...particularly the one of a person you claim to have "loved"...that is so monstrous it's hard to comprehend a human could go through with. I can picture a human losing control and taking someone's life in a rage, as evil as that is, but when they go on to do something like this it's truly a special kind of evil. Also, in this case he didn't seem to do it as some elaborate coverup or to hide the body or anything, he must have just wanted to destroy her :(

Exactly...I went through the same situation (Back then 20something me had a short fuse and a stupid senseless argument ended in me hopping out of the camper in a huff) and my boyfriend followed me slowly. There even was a concerned couple asking me if I was aware of "that long-haired man in the RV" stalking me. This embarrassed me very much - after all, he was just worried and I made him look like a creep. I made my way back to him and, quite sheepishly, asked him if I could come back in...he just looked at me and answered "As if you have to ask!". While watching this case together (the above mentioned scene happened 25 years ago), we compared "our" RV situation with Joseph's account of things; we both thought it was a crock of 💩.

As someone who studied psychology, this relationship was full of red flags from the very beginning. I wish we could spread awareness through young people in their twenties and teen to be able to spot these situations at an early stage and get the hell out of abusive relationships. It's sad how our society manages to romanticize emotionally unstable men as "soft" and "just need someone to understand them". 40 years old is a grown-ass man, the 20 years of age gap is A LOT. We need to stop saying that age is just a number because it's not and we keep on spreading the wrong message to young people. This poor girl has been love bombarded and he married her quickly to make sure to lock her down. He made it impossible for her to see her family and tried to isolate her. I cannot imagine what her mum went through when she saw bruises on her and realized what kind of man married her daughter. If one of your friends starts a relationship with someone who is much older and the relationship is going too fast too soon, try to do something. It's the biggest sign of upcoming abuse. If one of your friends' boyfriend/girlfriend is making it impossible for them to see their loved ones do something. You could literally save a life. I am not saying it's easy, but it could help.

@S G Actually no. Domestic violence is not due to mental health disorders. This is a myth that has been debunked through scientific studies on society. In fact, people with mental health disorders are FAR more likely to be the victim of violence than a perpetrator. Some perpetrators may have a mental health disorder but that may not be the reason they commit a violent act. Not every person who abuses has a mental health disorder. Most men who kill their spouses do not have a mental health disorder. This is not simply my opinion, these are facts you can verify with so much information available on this topic. Be mindful of the harm it does to people who live with a mental health disorder when there are falsehood spread about them. When we know better, we should do better.

Yes, it's rather uncanny how they are quick to mention 'an argument and how she always stormed off'. It's the same case with that guy from California, what's his name? .... Larry Millete. The sad thing is that women are time and time again stuck in such situations and don't know enough to recognise the signs of abuse. Before it escalates to physical abuse it usually starts with verbal, mental and/or emotional abuse. There really needs to be more education about abuse and what it looks like and this topic should probably be taught in high schools to help both girls and boys to recognise abuse and the various forms it appears in.

Such a sad case. I hope Joseph is held accountable. I hope her family gets the answers they need and justice is served. Great work Adrian for being this case to everyone’s attention.

Every time I hear “missing last seen having an argument with her husband” I know the outcome is usually, and sadly them being killed. It’s rotten.

I live in Vermont. So this case has been in the local news. But now thanks to you it will get international attention and hopefully a full resolution. There are still too many questions that aren't being answered.

I will never understand how a love one can cut up a person that he supposedly loved over a argument . This was his wife. He had declared love to her in a courthouse wedding. OMG taking her head off Seriously?? The acts human beings do to one another truly scares me!!

Just subbed to your channel Adrian, it's amazing! I really appreciate how you tell the story of the victims with such respect and empathy. P.S. To anyone living with an abusive partner, I know this can be diffucult, but please love yourself and care for yourself enough to leave that toxic relationship. YOU ARE WORTH HAVING A BEAUTIFUL LIFE! ❤❤❤

Sir, thank you SO MUCH for your remarks about the domestic violence increase. You raise awareness regarding dangerous & unhealthy behaviours through all of your videos and I think that's really important work. Thanks for all you do.

I thank you so much for posting this video regarding domestic violence! I myself, when I was in my early twenties with a guy that not only physically abused me, but mentally abused me as well. I know what other women/men are going through in this situation....we think that our partner will change...they'll say sorry to us after it happens and say it will never happen again, but it does... it ALWAYS does!! But sometimes that isn't the only reason why we stay with the abuser... sometimes we stay with them because financially we don't have enough to make it out on our own or we're afraid to leave them because they say they're going to hurt somebody that we truly love in our family or a friend of ours and we take it serious enough or we stay because we simply love them and wish they would change because of how much we truly love them...so they are some reasons why we stay unfortunately. But I truly dislike when people who have never been in a situation like this say: "your so stupid, you should have just left!!" Etc... well, first off, thank God that person that says something like that has never been in an abusive situation themselves, and secondly, I'm so glad that that person is strong enough (*or shall we say, thinks they would be strong enough) to be able to leave a situation like that. You can never judge another person until you actually walked in their shoes!! But I truly wish for any man or woman that is in abusive relationship that they can find the strength to finally pick up and walk away to a place where they will be completely safe before the mental and the physical abuse gets way worse or god forbid it ends up deadly.🙏

Thank you!!!! Thank you!!! Gabby’s story was tragic. She seemed like an angel but it sickened me to see all the other victims whose name wasn’t Gabby get barely a mention if any by any social or media platform. It’s a sad testament that some lives do matter more when it comes to society’s interest and concerns.

It's the underreported cases that need to be told. It must be agonizing to have a missing loved one, and not being able to get the media attention needed. People can't be on the lookout for people, or form significant local search parties, if they don't even know that someone is missing that needs to be found. It's an added frustration for family and friends in an already desperate situation, and also very sad. This poor young woman was just as loved and important to the people who loved her as Gabby was to hers...

After listening to a few dozen of your episodes, I find this one to be the most jaw-dropping. He killed her, then nonchalantly went out to eat with his sister? Makes me wonder what the sister witnessed across the table from her......

Very nice touch at the end with Emily's picture and info. I love that you covered this case and would love to see more underreported cases. Especially cases featuring more Black people, indigenous people and POC as they tend to be reported on less in mainstream media. Thank you!

It’s so crazy how these controlling men get these girls out on “get-aways” to relax. Seems they both had different ideas of what they wanted to do with these young women. So much like Gabby’s case. Predators. So terribly sad.

with Andrew Tate and other incel influencers on the rise, I have no doubt such cases will only continue to increase in the future. And men had the gals to say we women are overreacting and picky, when we often become the victim who lose everything in the end.
